WHO ARE THE REMNANT? – PART 3
Seeds of Correction
Throughout this journey, Father has been gently unveiling the identity of His Remnant.
In Part One, we discovered that the Remnant are not simply a group of people with the correct beliefs, they are a people whom YAHUAH is preparing—called out, set apart, and positioned to inherit His promises. Like Joshua leading Israel into the Promised Land, Father is preparing a generation to cross over, leaving behind the old life and walking in covenant obedience.
In Part Two, Father revealed something even deeper. Through the simple picture of a torn pink button, He reminded us of His words in Joel:
“So TEAR YOUR HEART, and not your garments; return to YAHUAH your Aluah, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, and of great loving-kindness.“
(Joel 2:13)
The outward display of religion has never been Father’s desire. He has always looked beyond appearances and into the heart. Repentance is not something that happens on the outside; it is the opening of the inner man before our Creator.
As I walked through the valley one morning, surrounded by the beautiful fynbos that Father Himself planted, He spoke two simple words into my spirit:
“Seeds of Correction.”
At first, I simply pondered those words. Then Father began to reveal something beautiful. A torn heart is not the end of repentance….It is the beginning of receiving.
When our hearts are hardened, His Word struggles to find a place to take root. Pride, self-will, tradition and worldly thinking keep the soil compacted, but when we truly repent, our hearts are torn open before Him. The hardness is broken and the soil is prepared.
Only then can Father sow His Seeds of Correction. These seeds are His Word. They are His Truth. They are His loving instruction that continually calls us back into alignment with His will.
Correction is often misunderstood. Many hear the word and immediately think of punishment or rejection. Yet throughout Scripture, Father’s correction has always been an expression of His love. He corrects those He calls His own because He desires to restore, refine and prepare them for the inheritance He has promised.
A closed heart resists correction and a proud heart argues with correction, but a torn heart welcomes correction because it trusts the One who is planting the seed.
The seed is the Word of YAHUAH
As Father unfolded this revelation, He reminded me that YAHUSHUA had already explained this mystery long before.
In the Parable of the Sower, YAHUSHUA first revealed what the Seed is:
“Now the parable is this: The seed is the Word of YAHUAH.“
(Luke 8:11)
Then He explained what happens when that Seed falls upon prepared soil:
“But he who received SEED on the GOOD GROUND is he who hears the word and UNDERSTAND it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.”
(Matthew 13:23)
Notice the order. The good ground does not merely hear the Word, it understands the Word and because it understands, it bears fruit.
As I meditated on this, Father showed me something I had never seen before. The Remnant do not bear fruit simply because they have heard His Word. They bear fruit because they have received His Word into a torn heart, and that Word has been understood.
But where does that understanding come from?
Again Father answered through His Word.
After His resurrection, YAHUSHUA appeared to His disciples. They had heard the Scriptures for years. They knew the prophecies. Yet something was still missing.
Then we read these remarkable words:
“Then He opened their understanding, that they might comprehend the Scriptures.“
(Luke 24:45)
What an incredible revelation! The Seed of Correction is Father’s Word. The torn heart is the prepared soil, but it is YAHUSHUA who opens our understanding so that the Seed may take root and accomplish its purpose within us.
Without understanding, the Seed remains on the surface but with understanding, the Seed sinks deep into the heart.
It grows.
It matures.
It transforms.
It bears fruit.
These are Father’s Seeds of Correction being planted within us. His purpose is never to condemn us but to transform us. Every seed carries His life, His truth and His character, producing within us the image of His Son.
The question, then, is not whether Father is still speaking.
The question is:
Is my heart torn open enough to receive His Seed? And: Am I allowing YAHUSHUA to open my understanding?
This is what sets the Remnant apart.
The Remnant are not people who never need correction.
They are people whose hearts remain open before YAHUAH, continually receiving His Seeds of Correction, allowing YAHUSHUA to open their understanding, until His Word takes deep root and produces the fruit of faithful obedience.
Perhaps this is why Joel calls for torn hearts instead of torn garments. Garments cannot receive seed. Only prepared soil can.
A torn heart receives the Seed.
YAHUSHUA opens the understanding.
Understanding produces obedience.
Obedience bears the fruit that identifies the Remnant.
For it is this fruit that identifies the Remnant: a people who hear His voice, receive His correction, understand His Word, faithfully walk in His ways, and inherit every promise He has prepared for those who love Him.
May we never harden our hearts against Father’s loving correction, but remain like fertile soil—ready to receive every Seed He plants and may YAHUSHUA continually open our understanding so that His Word may take root, grow, mature and bear abundant fruit within us.
