DAY 7 – THE JEBUSITES
Overcoming the Stronghold of Oppression, Defeat, and Delay
“When יהוה your Aluah brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you (1) the Hittites, (2) the Girgashites (3) the Amorites, (4) the Canaanites, (5) the Perizzites, (6) the Hivites, (7) the JEBUSITES…“ (Deuteronomy 7:1)
Understanding the Jebusites
Today we arrive at the seventh and final day of our journey into the Promised Land.
For the past six days we have allowed the Ruach HaQodesh to search our hearts as YAHUAH has faithfully exposed fear, compromise, pride, misplaced trust, broken boundaries, and deception.
Today we confront the final nation—the Jebusites. The Hebrew word is יְבוּסִי (Yevusi), Strong’s H2983. It is connected with the idea of treading down, trampling, or pressing underfoot.
Historically, the Jebusites occupied Jerusalem itself. Although Israel entered the land under Joshua, this stronghold remained until the days of King David, when Zion was finally captured. The Jebusites occupied the very place YAHUAH intended to become the center of His Kingdom.
Prophetically, they represent every force that seeks to keep us from fully possessing what YAHUAH has promised.
The Jebusite spirit strongly speak the words:
- “You’ve come this far, but you’ll never finish.”
- “You’ll always struggle.”
- “You’ll never overcome.”
- “Your breakthrough is impossible.”
- “This stronghold is permanent.”
YAHUAH declares something entirely different. What He promises, He also has the power to fulfill. Today is not merely another day of teaching, it’s a day of proclamation, of victory and to declare that every remaining stronghold must bow before the King of Glory.
The Final Strongholds
Oppression
Isaiah 54:17
“No weapon formed against you shall prosper...”
Declaration: Every weapon formed against me shall fail. I stand under the protection of YAHUAH.
Discouragement
Joshua 1:9
“Be strong and courageous...”
Declaration: I reject discouragement and receive fresh courage from YAHUAH.
Delay
Habakkuk 2:3
“Though it delays, wait for it, because it shall certainly come.”
Declaration: Every promise of YAHUAH will come to pass in His perfect timing.
Feeling Defeated
Romans 8:37
“In all these we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”
Declaration: I am more than a conqueror through Yahushua Messiah.
Intimidation
Isaiah 41:10
“Fear not, for I am with you…“
Declaration: I refuse to be intimidated. YAHUAH fights for me.
Possessing the Inheritance
Deuteronomy 7:22
“And יהוה your Aluah shall drive out those nations before you little by little...”
Declaration: Little by little, YAHUAH is driving out every remaining enemy until I fully possess my inheritance.
Final Declaration
Today I stand upon every promise YAHUAH has spoken over my life.
I renounce every agreement with defeat, oppression, delay, intimidation, discouragement, and hopelessness.
Every remaining stronghold must bow before the authority of YAHUAH.
I declare that I will possess every promise He has prepared for me.
Fear has fallen.
Compromise has fallen.
Pride has fallen.
Greed has fallen.
Carelessness has fallen.
Deception has fallen.
Today the Jebusite stronghold falls.
I belong to YAHUAH.
My family belongs to YAHUAH.
My home belongs to YAHUAH.
My future belongs to YAHUAH.
My inheritance belongs to YAHUAH.
I will not retreat.
I will not surrender.
I will not grow weary.
I will possess the land.
In the mighty Name of Yahushua HaMasiach, HalleluYAH!
Prophetic Action
Today we complete the journey.
Walk around your home, your property, your block, or wherever YAHUAH has led you during these past six days.
Today, walk seven times.
As you walk, remember how Israel marched around Jericho.
With each circuit, proclaim the Scriptures you have been declaring throughout this journey.
Speak the declarations with boldness.
Lift your voice with confidence.
This is not about a ritual.
It is a prophetic act of faith, declaring that YAHUAH goes before you and that every stronghold must yield to His authority.
On the seventh time around, stop and prepare your heart.
War Cry
Lift your voice with all your strength!
YAHUAH GOES BEFORE ME!
EVERY STRONGHOLD HAS FALLEN!
I WILL POSSESS MY INHERITANCE!
THE LAND BELONGS TO YAHUAH!
NO WEAPON SHALL PROSPER!
THE KING OF GLORY REIGNS!
VICTORY BELONGS TO YAHUAH!
THE JEBUSITE STRONGHOLD IS FALLING!
THE WALLS ARE COMING DOWN!
THE BATTLE BELONGS TO YAHUAH!
HALLELUYAH!
Blow the Shofar
After completing the seventh circuit, sound the shofar with joy and confidence.
Declare:
Today I proclaim the victory of YAHUAH over every remaining stronghold.
Every enemy that has resisted the purposes of YAHUAH in my life must depart.
Every wall that stands against His promises must come down.
Every delay must bow.
Every oppression must be broken.
Every chain must be loosed.
Every promise of YAHUAH shall be fulfilled.
The King of Glory reigns over my life.
The battle belongs to YAHUAH.
Victory belongs to YAHUAH.
I receive my inheritance by faith.
Communion
Take the bread and the cup.
Remember that every victory we celebrate is because of the finished work of Yahushua Messiah.
His body was broken so that we could be made whole.
His blood established the everlasting covenant.
As you partake today, thank Him for walking with you throughout these seven days.
Give Him praise for every victory already seen and for every work that He will continue to complete.
Abba YAHUAH,
Thank You for leading us through this seven-day journey and for searching our hearts, exposing hidden strongholds, and teaching us to walk more closely with You.
We acknowledge that every victory belongs to You and continue driving out every remaining enemy little by little, just as You promised in Deuteronomy 7:22.
Strengthen us to remain faithful, humble, discerning, and obedient and may this journey not end today but become a lifestyle of surrender, holiness, and covenant faithfulness.
May our homes be filled with Your peace.
May our families walk in Your truth.
May our hearts remain wholly devoted to You.
We give You all the glory, all the honor, and all the praise.

A Final Word
Congratulations on completing this 7-Day Journey Into Our Inheritance.
Remember, Israel did not possess the land in a single day. YAHUAH told them He would drive out the nations “little by little” (Deuteronomy 7:22).
The same is true for us. As we continue to walk with Him, He continues His work within us—strengthening what is weak, exposing what is hidden, and transforming us into a people who reflect His heart.
If, in the days or weeks ahead, you sense the Ruach HaQodesh inviting you to walk through this journey again, don’t hesitate to do so. Each time we come before YAHUAH with humble and willing hearts, He is able to reveal deeper things, uproot remaining strongholds, and establish us more firmly in His truth.
This journey may have lasted seven days, but the work of sanctification continues throughout our lives.
Walk forward with confidence.
Walk forward in obedience.
Walk forward in faith.
YAHUAH goes before you, fights for you, and is faithful to complete the work He has begun.
Little by little, every stronghold will fall until His inheritance is fully established in you.
