BIBLICAL MONTH 4

UNDERSTANDING THE TIMES: THE FOURTH BIBLICAL MONTH

A Fresh Invitation to See What Father Is Revealing

As we enter the Fourth Biblical Month, I would like to invite you on a journey of discovery.

Many of us are familiar with teachings surrounding the tribe of Reuben and the fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet, Dalet. Over the years, countless teachings have explored their meanings, prophetic symbolism, and connections to this season. Yet as I began seeking YAHUAH concerning this month, I sensed that He was drawing my attention beyond the familiar and into something deeper.

What caught my attention was not only the connection to the fourth month itself, but also two specific Scriptures that Father highlighted to me:

Leviticus 4:11

and

1 Thessalonians 4:4

At first, I simply noted them down. Yet the more I sat with them, the more I sensed that Father was intentionally drawing attention to the number four.

Not once.

Not twice.

But repeatedly.

The Fourth Month.

The fourth letter, Dalet.

The tribe associated with this month, Reuben.

Leviticus chapter 4.

1 Thessalonians chapter 4, verse 4.

It felt as though Father was placing His finger upon something and saying:

Look closer. There is something here that I want My people to see.

This article is therefore not intended to be another study on the tribe of Reuben or another teaching on the Hebrew letter Dalet. While we will certainly explore both, my desire is to follow the thread that Father began highlighting and see where it leads.

As I followed that thread, a beautiful pattern began to emerge.

A Door.

A Son.

A Vision.

A Sanctified Vessel.

And ultimately, a Kingdom Assignment.

What if this month is not merely about understanding a tribe or learning the meaning of a Hebrew letter? What if Father is calling His remnant to a higher level of spiritual perception?

What if He is revealing that before we can see where we are going, we must first allow Him to cleanse the lens through which we see and what if the very tests many are experiencing right now are not designed to stop them, but to prepare them to receive clearer vision?

As you read through this study, I encourage you not to approach it merely as information, but as an invitation. Pause when something resonates and write down what Father highlights and allow the Ruach HaQodesh to speak personally into your circumstances.

I believe that hidden within this Fourth Month is a call from Heaven—a call to see beyond the natural, to behold the Son, and to receive Father’s perspective for the season ahead.

So let us begin where Father first directed our attention: At the Door.

As we step into the Fourth Biblical Month, I find myself once again marveling at how beautifully YAHUAH weaves His patterns throughout Scripture. Every appointed time seems to carry its own invitation, its own lesson, and its own opportunity for growth.

While meditating on this month, I sensed Father drawing my attention not only to the tribe associated with this season, but also to the fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet. What began as a simple study soon unfolded into a deeper revelation about vision, perception, sanctification, and the assignment He has prepared for His people.

As some of us already know, the fourth letter of the Hebrew alphabet is the Dalet (ד). Its meaning is “door,” “gate,” or “entrance.” At first, this may seem like a small detail, but the more I reflected on it, the more I began to see a beautiful picture emerge.

A door is never merely a door, a door represents access and it represents transition. It marks the boundary between where we have been and where we are being invited to go.

Every significant journey in Scripture begins with a door of some kind. Noah entered a door before the floodwaters came, Israel passed through a doorway marked with the blood of the lamb before leaving Egypt and the priests entered through the gates of the Tabernacle to draw near to the presence of Aluah.

A door always requires a response. We may stand before it, admire it and even talk about it…but eventually we must decide whether we are willing to walk through it.

As I pondered this, my thoughts immediately turned to Yahushua, who declared:

I am the door. If anyone enters through Me, he shall be saved...” (John 10:9)

How remarkable that the Fourth Month begins with the picture of a door, because every true vision from Heaven begins with Yahushua. He is not merely the One who points the way; He is the Way. He is the entrance into a different perspective, a different kingdom, and a different way of seeing.

Yet Scripture reveals something else about Him. He is not only the Door, He is also the Chief Cornerstone.

The cornerstone determines the alignment of an entire building. Every wall, every measurement, and every angle must align with that cornerstone. If it is misplaced, the entire structure becomes unstable.

Perhaps this is one of the first lessons of the Fourth Month because before Father reveals greater vision, He first asks us to examine our alignment. Are we building our lives upon Yahushua? Are our decisions, desires, and pursuits measured against the Cornerstone or have other things quietly become the foundation upon which we stand?

The Fourth Month gently invites us back to alignment before it invites us into revelation.

From Dalet, the Door, we are led naturally to the tribe associated with this month: Reuben.

The name Reuben means:

“Behold, a son.”

At first glance, this appears to be a simple statement. Yet when viewed through the lens of Dalet and Yahushua, it takes on profound prophetic meaning. If Yahushua is the Door through which we enter, then what is the first thing Father wants us to see?

The answer is found in Reuben:

Behold the Son.

Before Father shows us our future, He reveals His Son, before He unfolds our assignment He directs our eyes toward Yahushua and before we understand the times, we must know the One who holds the times in His hands.

This is often where our hearts are tested. We naturally desire answers. We want clarity regarding our future. We seek understanding concerning our calling and purpose. Yet Father lovingly redirects our focus and says, “Look at My Son.” The invitation of Reuben is not simply to see circumstances differently, it is to see Yahushua more clearly.

As I continued to meditate on this theme, another passage of Scripture began to stand out in a remarkable way. In 1 Thessalonians 4:4, Paul writes about sanctification and reminds believers that the desire of YAHUAH is their set-apartness.

“..that each one of you should know how to possess his own vessel in set-apartness and respect..”

At first, this may seem unrelated to vision, but the more I reflected on it, the more I realized how closely the two are connected. Many of us ask Father for greater revelation, we pray for direction and we seek understanding regarding His plans for our lives. Yet what if the issue is not that Father is withholding vision? What if He is preparing the vessel that will carry the vision?

Paul writes that each person should know how to possess their vessel in sanctification and honor. He warns against sexual immorality, lustful passions, impurity, and taking advantage of others. These instructions are not merely moral guidelines; they reveal something about the condition of the heart.

A clouded vessel produces clouded vision.

A compromised heart struggles to perceive clearly. The flesh has a way of distorting what Heaven is trying to reveal. This is why Father often allows seasons of testing before seasons of fulfillment.

The Fourth Month may become such a season for many. Some may find themselves confronted with hidden motives and others may be challenged in areas of purity. Still others may discover that old wounds, offenses, pride, fear, or unhealthy desires are being brought into the light.

These moments can feel uncomfortable, but they are often evidence of Father’s kindness rather than His displeasure. He is preparing the vessel, He is clearing the lens and He is removing anything that prevents us from seeing clearly.

This brought me back to Leviticus 4 and the instruction concerning the sin offering being removed outside the camp, before restoration came cleansing and before greater access came purification.

The same pattern remains true today: Before Father entrusts greater vision, He often purifies the vessel that will carry it. The purpose is never condemnation – The purpose is clarity. Because when the vessel becomes clear, the vision becomes clear and when the heart is purified, His voice becomes easier to discern.

When the distractions of the flesh lose their grip, heavenly perspective begins to emerge. Suddenly we find ourselves seeing differently. What once appeared as delay becomes preparation, what once appeared as loss becomes pruning and what once appeared as a closed door becomes divine redirection.

This is the gift of heavenly perception. Like Joshua and Caleb, we begin to see promise where others see obstacles and like Abraham, we begin to see covenant where others see impossibility, but most of all like Yahushua, we begin to see the Father’s will even in the midst of suffering.

Perhaps this is the true invitation of the Fourth Biblical Month. Not simply to receive vision, but to become the kind of people who can faithfully steward the vision Father desires to give.

A Time for Reflection

As you journey through this month, consider bringing these questions before YAHUAH:

  • What door is Father inviting me to walk through?
  • Is Yahushua truly the cornerstone of every area of my life?
  • What distractions or compromises may be clouding my spiritual vision?
  • Is Father calling me into a deeper level of set-apartness?
  • What might He be removing so that I can see more clearly?

Take time to write down what He reveals. Sit with Him, listen carefully and allow Him to search your heart. The Fourth Month is not a call to strive harder, it is an invitation to see more clearly.

If you find yourself in a season of testing, do not lose heart. The testing may not be a sign that Father has forgotten you; it may be evidence that He is preparing you. The same YAHUAH who opens the door is also faithful to guide you through it. The same Yahushua who stands as the Door is also the Chief Cornerstone upon whom your life can safely rest.

Trust the process and allow Him to purify the vessel and allow Him to align your heart and to refine your vision.

For those who behold the Son will begin to see as Heaven sees and those who see as Heaven sees will discover that every step, every test, and every season has been preparing them for the purpose and promises that YAHUAH has ordained from the beginning.
