Beloved, this is not just another Torah portion — this is a deeply appointed moment in time. As we find ourselves on Day 38 of the 40 Days of Heart Purging toward Pesach, and entering the last Shabbat before Pesach. This portion carries a profound weight. After all the searching, the refining, and the quiet work Father has been doing in your heart, He does not leave you empty — He speaks blessing over you.

This is a moment to pause and receive. A moment to allow His voice to settle deeply within you. As you prepare to step into Pesach, know that you are not the same as when you started this journey. You have been refined. You have been aligned and now, you are being blessed and prepared for what is ahead.

The Hebrew Meaning of the Name

Beloved, this portion opens with a declaration:

“And this is the blessing…”

In Hebrew, V’Zot HaBerachah (וְזֹאת הַבְּרָכָה) means exactly that — “And this is the blessing.”

  • V’Zot (וְזֹאת)And this
  • HaBerachah (הַבְּרָכָה)the blessing

This is not a general blessing, this is a spoken, intentional, prophetic blessing. Moses, before his departure, speaks over each tribe of Israel. He does not leave them without identity. He does not leave them without direction. He releases words that carry inheritance, calling, and destiny.

This shows us something very important, blessing is not random and blessing is spoken, declared, and received.

What This Portion Is About

V’Zot HaBerachah is the closing of the Torah.

Moses blesses each tribe of Israel individually, speaking life, identity, and prophetic destiny over them. Each blessing is specific, showing that Yahuah sees His people personally and knows their calling. After this, Moses goes up the mountain, views the Promised Land, and then passes on. It is a moment of both closure and transition. Then the Torah ends… not in loss, but in blessing and promise.

  • A leader finishes his assignment
  • A generation stands ready to enter
  • A blessing is released before the next step

Prophetic Alignment — Restored Remnant Rising, Blessing & New Beginning

Beloved, this portion comes at such a powerful place in the timeline. After going out, coming in, standing, moving, and then learning to listen in the new year through Ha’azinu…Now comes the moment of blessing. This is not a small thing.

During these 40 Days of Heart Purging toward Pesach, Father has been doing a deep work within us. He has been refining, correcting, aligning, and teaching us to hear His voice more clearly. And now, after the listening… comes the release.

V’Zot HaBerachah shows us that blessing follows alignment. Moses did not bless a people who were unaware, no he blessed a people who had been instructed, corrected and prepared. In the same way, the restored remnant is stepping into a season where Father is speaking identity again. He is reminding His people who they are and He is affirming their calling.

Here is something very important: You must receive the blessing. Sometimes we are ready to be corrected, but slow to receive and sometimes we accept refining, but struggle to accept favour.

This portion invites us to stand and receive what Father is speaking over us. This is also a transition moment. Just as Moses finished his journey, a new generation was about to step forward. And right after this portion… comes Bereshita new beginning.

So this is what Father is doing: He is closing one season with blessing… and opening the next with purpose.

Prayer

Abba Yahuah,

Thank You that You are a Father who blesses His people. As we come into V’Zot HaBerachah, we open our hearts to receive what You are speaking over us. After the refining, after the searching, after the learning to listen — we receive Your blessing with humility and gratitude.

Thank you Father for speak identity over us again and remind us of our calling.
Establish us in the inheritance You have prepared. Where we have struggled to receive, soften our hearts Father and where we have doubted, bring clarity. Father where we have felt unworthy, remind us that Your blessing flows from Your love and covenant.

As we continue toward Pesach, prepare us not only to remember deliverance, but to walk in the fullness of what You have spoken.

We receive Your blessing.
We receive Your word.
We receive Your leading.

In the Name of Yahushua HaMashiach, HalleluYAH.

“The Voice Calling in the Wilderness” teaching of Prophetess Esther Cohin ot the Torah Protion V’Zot HaBerachah

Beloved, do not rush past this, let His words take root in you. The season you are stepping into is not uncertain — it is prepared. And as you continue to walk closely with Him, you will see how every step, every moment of obedience, has led you right here.

Stay close. Stay humble. Keep listening. And receive what your Father is releasing over your life.

HalleluYAH 🤍
