TORAH PORTION: Re’eh
Parashah Re’eh — “See”
Parashah Re’eh (רְאֵה) means “See.” It opens with a direct and personal call from Moshe to the people: “See, I am setting before you today a blessing and a curse.” This is a call not merely to look, but to perceive, discern, and choose. Re’eh invites Israel to take responsibility for what they see and how they respond.
Following Ekev’s emphasis on walking in obedience, Re’eh sharpens the focus by placing a clear choice before the people. Blessing and curse are not abstract concepts—they flow directly from obedience or disobedience. This portion emphasizes that covenant life involves discernment, separation from false worship, and a wholehearted commitment to the place and ways YAHUAH establishes.

Seeing and Choosing Life
In Parashah Re’eh, Moshe sets a blessing and a curse before Israel, making it clear that covenant life requires conscious choice. To “see” is to discern between truth and deception, obedience and compromise, life and destruction. The blessing flows from listening to the commands of YAHUAH, while the curse follows turning away and following other mighty ones.
Re’eh also emphasizes right worship—worship in the place YAHUAH chooses, not according to human preference. This teaches that worship is not self-designed, but aligned with YAHUAH’s instruction. False worship, mixture, and imitation of the nations are directly addressed and warned against.
This portion reminds us that spiritual discernment must be exercised continually. Seeing rightly leads to choosing rightly. The call of Re’eh is not passive—it demands decision, courage, and fidelity to YAHUAH’s ways.

Prophetic Alignment with the Restored Remnant
Parashah Re’eh speaks powerfully to the Restored Remnant in this season. We are living in a time where many voices compete for allegiance, and discernment is essential. Re’eh calls the Remnant to open their eyes, reject mixture, and choose life—even when the choice is costly or countercultural.
The Remnant is being trained to see clearly, to test what is presented as truth, and to align fully with the ways of YAHUAH rather than the patterns of the world. This portion affirms that blessing is tied to obedience, and life flows from choosing covenant faithfulness daily.
Re’eh reminds the faithful that seeing precedes choosing, and choosing determines destiny. The Remnant who sees with discernment and chooses obedience will walk in the blessings YAHUAH has prepared in this season.

Abba YAHUAH,
we thank You for setting truth clearly before us and for opening our eyes to see the paths of life and blessing. Give us discerning hearts to recognize Your ways and courage to choose obedience, even when the choice is costly.
Teach us to worship You according to Your instruction and not according to human preference. Guard us from mixture, compromise, and false ways that draw hearts away from You. Keep us anchored in Your truth and aligned with the place and purpose You have chosen.
Strengthen the Restored Remnant in this season. Sharpen our spiritual sight, refine our choices, and establish us firmly in covenant faithfulness. May we be a people who see clearly, walk humbly, and choose life daily.
Lead us in righteousness, order our steps, and let our lives reflect Your glory. We submit ourselves to You anew, trusting You to guide us in the way everlasting.
In the Name of Yahushua HaMashiach, halleluYAH.
