A Prophetic Watchman’s Message: Permission, Judgment, and Mercy
A Letter of Watching and Weighing — 2 Samuel 24
Shalom beloved,
I write this as one who is watching, listening and carefully weighing what is being revealed.
There are moments in time that feel marked, set apart and 7 April 2026 was such a moment for me.
I do not rush to conclusions, but I also do not ignore patterns when they align with Scripture. I lay this before you as a map in progress, to discern together what our Father, YAHUAH, may be saying.
The Awakening at 4:44 AM — A Call to Pay Attention (Tripple DOOR)

In the early hours of the morning, at 4:44 AM, I was awakened. There was a clear prompting in my spirit to open my Bible to page 444. When I did, my eyes fell on 2 Samuel 24, and specifically on Gad—the seer and prophet in the days of David. Because I’m from the tribe of Gad, this immediately got my attention.

Gad stood as a messenger between heaven and a king who had erred.
“And David said unto YAHUAH, I have sinned greatly in that I have done: and now, I beseech thee, O YAHUAH, take away the iniquity of thy servant; for I have done very foolishly.” — 2 Samuel 24:10
David recognized his sin, yet the consequence was not removed. Instead, through Gad, three choices were presented. Judgment would come—but David was given a moment to choose how it would unfold.
And David answered:
“Let us fall now into the hand of YAHUAH; for His mercies are great: and let me not fall into the hand of man.” — 2 Samuel 24:14
He chose the shortest, yet the most severe path—a three-day plague. Seventy thousand men fell.
This moment reveals something weighty: repentance does not always remove consequence, but it positions us in the mercy of YAHUAH within it.

YAHUAH Allowed It — Authority vs. Action
Later, as I was still meditating on this, I came across an image with the words from 2 Samuel 24:1 and the phrase: “YAHUAH allowed it” and beneath it, “Read deeper.” This struck deeply.
“And again the anger of YAHUAH was kindled against Israel, and He moved David against them to say, Go, number Israel and Judah.” — 2 Samuel 24:1
Yet we also know there is an adversary who acts. This reveals a mystery of heaven’s order:
YAHUAH permits and the adversary performs.
There is authority and there is action.
Nothing unfolds outside His sovereignty, even judgment moves through permission and even shaking serves a purpose. This anchored something in me: what is coming is not random..it is permitted.
40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS – A PROPHETIC WINDOW
I want you to pause for a moment and really take this in…
From 28 February to 8 April, there was a conflict unfolding between Israel, the United States and Iran. It began with strikes, tension rising quickly, and then—after exactly 40 days—it came to a ceasefire.
Not 39… not 41… but 40.
Immediately, something in the spirit should stir within us, because Scripture has shown us again and again that 40 days and 40 nights is never a coincident, it is a set time. A measured window.
Think about it…

In the days of Noah, the rain fell for 40 days before the earth was cleansed and a new beginning emerged, Moses went up the mountain for 40 days before receiving what was written by the hand of YAHUAH, Elijah walked 40 days to reach the place of encounter and YAHUSHUA fasted for 40 days before stepping into His ministry.
Do you see the pattern?
Forty is the space between what was… and what is about to be revealed. It is the place of testing, of exposure, of preparation.
So when we look at these past 40 days, we must not only see war in the natural. We must discern what has been happening in the spirit. Nations have been shaken and what was hidden has been brought into the open. Nothing is what seems to be, and then, on the 40th day… a pause.
Not full peace, not resolution, but a restraint. A holding back. Almost as if time itself was allowed to breathe for a moment.
Beloved, this is what we must understand…this ceasefire is not necessarily the end. It feels more like a threshold, because after every 40 in Scripture, something follows. Either there is repentance and realignment… or there is a continuation, even an escalation, once the testing has run its course and so we find ourselves standing in that very moment now.
Not just asking what these 40 days meant…but asking, with discernment and humility before YAHUAH—
What comes after the 40?
Stay watchful. Stay anchored and keep your heart aligned with His voice.
Passover Timing — The Edge of Deliverance
The date, 7 April, aligned with 20 Nissan—the sixth day of Passover. This is the moment just before the crossing in Exodus 14.
The day before the sea parts.
The day before deliverance.
The day before the enemy is swallowed.
This is not yet victory—but it is the edge of it.
“And YAHUAH said unto Moses… lift thou up thy rod… and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.” — Exodus 14:15–16
There is always a tension before breakthrough…a pressing, a narrowing, a moment where it seems there is no way forward. Yet this is precisely where YAHUAH reveals His power.

A Ceasefire and the Illusion of Peace
On that same day, a public announcement was made of a two-week ceasefire by President Trump. Whether political or strategic, it echoes something deeply scriptural.
Scripture warns us:
“For yourselves know perfectly that the day of YAHUAH so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:2–3
Peace declared does not always mean peace established, sometimes it is the quiet before travail begins.

Nine Months and Twenty Days — The Fullness of Time
Returning again to 2 Samuel 24, I noticed something I had not seen before: “So when they had gone through all the land, they came to Jerusalem at the end of nine months and twenty days.” — 2 Samuel 24:8, a full cycle, a measured period and a counting completed. When I counted forward from 7 April 2026, it led to 27 January 2027.
I do not declare this as a fixed event, but I cannot ignore the pattern. Nine months is the language of birth. The additional days speak of completion and when we pair this with what Messiah said: “All these are the beginning of sorrows.” — Matthew 24:8, the word “sorrows” refers to labor pains.
There is a difference between early contractions and active labor. Once true labor begins, it cannot be stopped. This raises a sobering possibility: Are we moving from the beginning of sorrows into the fullness of labor?

Fifty-Two Days — The Work of Restoration
Another marker stood out: from 7 April, it was exactly 52 days until the Restored Remnant Rising Conference and immediately, the account of Nehemiah came to mind: “So the wall was finished in the twenty and fifth day of the month Elul, in fifty and two days.” — Nehemiah 6:15
Fifty-two days to rebuild what was broken.
Fifty-two days to restore what had been in ruins.
This is not coincidence, it is pattern. While there may be shaking in the earth, there is also a call to build, to restore, and to prepare a people.

What Then Shall We Do?
Beloved, I do not write this to stir fear, but to awaken readiness.
David’s account teaches us:
- Sin has consequence
- Mercy is still available
- YAHUAH’s sovereignty remains untouched
The Passover timing reminds us:
- Deliverance comes suddenly
- The path may look impossible before it opens
The warning of Thessalonians tells us:
- Not all peace is true peace
- Sudden change follows false security
The timeline in Samuel whispers:
- There are appointed times
- There are things being counted and completed
And Nehemiah calls us:
- Build while there is time
- Restore what has been broken
So we watch.
We pray.
We align.
We repent where needed.
We build where called.
Above all, we trust that YAHUAH is still seated in authority. Nothing escapes His hand, and in all of this, let your heart not be troubled. The same YAHUAH who permits the shaking is the One who preserves His remnant. He is not distant….He is near, guiding, covering, and preparing His people for what lies ahead.
If we remain repented, yielded, obedient and anchored in Him, we will not be overtaken by the darkness, but will walk in His light, His peace and His purpose…steady, unshaken and ready for every step He has already ordained.
May ABBA YAHUAH bless you.
Shalom beloved,
