FIX YOUR EYES ON THE DOOR

As we are entering into the Hebrew month of Tammuz today, 20 June 2023, we are also prophetically walking through THE DOOR.

Tammuz is the fourth month on the Hebrew calendar and the Hebrew word DELET has the numerical value of FOUR, which means DOOR, pathway, portal to heaven, draw out or in or knock. As our Messiah is our DOOR or Portal to heaven, in this month of Tammuz we must keep our eyes fixed on HIM, THE DOOR, to guard our eyes and hearts:

“I am THE DOOR; anyone who enters through Me will be saved [and will live forever], and will go in and out [freely], and find pasture (spiritual security). (John 10:8)

Also in the month of Tammuz, Moses came down the mountain with the 10 commandments and founded the people at the feet of a golden calf, with their EYES fixed on their circumstances and not on YHWH. That day 3000 people died because of disobedience. 

The Door (delet) shows us the Way into the Throne Room of Adonai, the place of Authority and Kingship. Yeshua is The Door for the sheep and it is impossible to get close and personal with YHWH by entering another door or way. 

Remember, intimacy and authority are linked. Let’s keep our eyes fixed on Yeshua, our DOOR to the Throne Room, and not on our circumstances. Do not bow before the modern golden calf of the world in disobedience in this month of Tammuz. GO through THE DOOR and keep your position of intimacy to guard your eyes and your heart and keep on God’s Ancient Path to give you rest for your soul.

– Thus says the Lord,
“Stand by the roads and look; ask for the Ancient Paths,
Where the good way is; then walk in it, And you will find rest for your souls.”

(Jeremiah 6:16)

TAMMUZ – TIME OF VISIONS

Very interesting is also that God created the sun, moon and stars (natural light) on the FOURTH day, as they mark time and give signs. As Yeshua is also our LIGHT and when we keep our eyes fixed on Him, He will also show us THE WAY, visions, times, seasons and signs. Just as God gave Ezekiel in the month of Tammuz (on the fifth day) a magnificent VISION of FOUR living creatures. (Ezekiel 1:1-21)

LOWER YOUR WINGS

“As they moved, I also heard the SOUND of their wings like the sound of great [rushing] waters, like the voice of the Almighty, the sound of tumult like the NOISE of an ARMY camp. Whenever they came to a stop, they LOWERED THEIR WINGS. ²⁵ And there was a VOICE above the expanse that was over their heads; whenever they stopped, they lowered their wings.”

(Ezekiel 1:24-25)

When I read these verses, I saw an angel trying to go through a door with open wings – he couldn’t. As the scripture also describes the noise/sound their wings made, the angel I saw could not hear what is going on behind the door because of the noice of his own wings was too loud and he could also not enter through the door because his wings were opened. As Holy Spirit showed me thus, I realized we also can’t GO through THE DOOR still with the sound of the world of our circumstances in our ears. We will not be able to hear behind the door or even enter the door with open, noisy wings. 

The Scriptures here says, they needed to lower their wings. What gives you wings? (no not Red Bull) Some of us have wings of bitterness, wings of hatred, wings of unbelieve, wings of unforgiveness or wings of lust. Whatever wings you have, you need TO LOWER THEM! Without lowering them, you would not be able to enter through THE DOOR or hear what you need to hear, behind the door.

TAMMUZ BLESSING

May God also give you visions and signs in this month of Tammuz, as you keep your eyes fixed on Yeshua, our DOOR, and keep your position of obedience and intimacy to guard your eyes and guard your heart. 

May you lower the sound of your own wings and tune your ears to listen to the sounds and Voice behind THE DOOR to keep you on God’s Ancient Path and to receive His Rest for your soul.
