DAY 1 – THE HITTITES
Overcoming the Stronghold of Fear
“When יהוה your Aluah brings you into the land which you go to possess, and has cast out many nations before you: the HITTITES…” (Deuteronomy 7:1)
Theme for Today – FEAR
Fear is often the first enemy we encounter when YAHUAH begins leading us into a new season, a greater calling, or a deeper level of obedience.
The Hittites are listed first among the seven nations of Deuteronomy 7. Their name is linked to terror, fear, dread, and intimidation. Before Israel could possess the land, they first had to overcome the fear that stood at its entrance.
The enemy knows that if he can keep us afraid, he can keep us from advancing. Fear causes us to hesitate when YAHUAH says move, causes us to doubt when YAHUAH says trust and fear causes us to retreat when YAHUAH says possess.
Today we ask the Ruach HaQodesh to reveal every area where the Hittite stronghold may still be operating in our lives.
Take A Look Inside
Prayerfully ask yourself:
Fear of Man
- Am I seeking the approval of people more than the approval of YAHUAH?
- Have I remained silent when I should have spoken truth?
Fear of Failure
- Have I delayed obedience because I am afraid I might fail?
- Have I refused to step into something YAHUAH has called me to do?
Fear of the Future
- Am I worrying about tomorrow instead of trusting YAHUAH today?
- Am I carrying anxiety regarding finances, family, health, or provision?
Fear That Paralyzes
- Is there an area of my life where I feel stuck?
- Have I become hesitant to move forward because of uncertainty?
Doubt of YAHUAH’s Faithfulness
- Have I forgotten what YAHUAH has already done for me?
- Am I focusing more on the giants than on His promises?
Pause for a moment and allow the Ruach HaQodesh to search your heart. Repent for any agreement you have made with fear and ask YAHUAH to restore your trust in Him.
Scriptures To Meditate On Today
2 Timothy 1:7
“For Aluah has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of self-control.”
Deuteronomy 31:6
“Be strong and courageous, do not fear nor be afraid of them, for יהוה your Aloah is He who goes with you.”
Psalm 56:3
“When I am afraid, I put my trust in You.”
Isaiah 41:10
“Do not fear, for I am with you. Do not look around, for I am your Aluah. I shall fortify you, yes, I shall help you.”
Proverbs 29:25
“The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in יהוה is safe.”
1 John 4:18
“There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear.”
Read these Scriptures aloud. Allow the Word to establish faith where fear has tried to build a stronghold.
Declaration
Speak aloud:
“Today I renounce every spirit of fear operating in my life.
I reject fear of man, fear of failure, fear of the future, and every fear that has attempted to keep me from my inheritance.
I declare that YAHUAH has not given me a spirit of fear but of power, love, and a sound mind.
I choose faith over fear.
I choose obedience over hesitation.
I choose trust over anxiety.
YAHUAH goes before me, fights for me, and strengthens me.
I will not retreat.
I will not be intimidated.
I will not agree with fear.
By the blood of Yahushua Messiah, every agreement with fear is broken.
I will possess and claim the inheritance YAHUAH has prepared for me.
War Cry
Lift your voice boldly:
FEAR SHALL NOT RULE ME!
YAHUAH IS WITH ME!
I WILL NOT DRAW BACK!
I WILL POSSESS MY INHERITANCE!
THE BATTLE BELONGS TO YAHUAH!
THE HITTITE STRONGHOLD IS FALLING!
FAITH SHALL ARISE!
YAHUAH REIGNS!
Prophetic Action
Walk around your house, property, block, or wherever YAHUAH leads you.
As you walk:
- Thank YAHUAH for every victory He has already given you.
- Renounce every fear that the Ruach HaQodesh revealed today.
- Declare the Scriptures aloud.
- Proclaim that fear no longer has authority over your life, family, calling, or inheritance.
Walk in faith, not fear.
Blow The Shofar
When you have completed your walk, sound the shofar.
As you blow, declare:
“I announce the victory of YAHUAH over every Hittite stronghold.
Fear shall no longer occupy territory that belongs to YAHUAH.
The King goes before me.
The King fights for me.
The King establishes His authority in my life.
Let faith arise and fear be scattered!”
Communion
Take the bread and the cup.
As you partake, remember:
- Yahushua has already overcome the enemy.
- His blood speaks a better word than fear.
- His body was broken so that we may walk in wholeness.
- Through Him we have access to every promise of the Father.
Give thanks for His victory and receive His peace.
Close with a Prayer
Abba YAHUAH,
Thank You for revealing the Hittite stronghold wherever it has been operating in my life. Today I surrender every fear, every anxiety, every intimidation, and every doubt into Your hands.
Teach me to trust You more deeply and strengthen me to walk in faith and remind me that You go before me and that You are faithful to complete what You have begun.
Drive out every Hittite influence little by little as I walk in obedience before You and may faith arise and may Your Kingdom be established in every area of my life.
In the Name of Yahushua, HalleluYAH.
Day 1 Reminder
“This is not our battle—it is YAHUAH’s. Our part is to obey, agree with Him, and walk forward in faith. Little by little, He will drive them out.”
Shalom beloved,
