OMER COUNT DAY 8

🌿 Counting the Omer – Day 8

Jeremiah 10 | The Living Elohim

As we step into Day 8 of the Omer, we are looking into Book of Jeremiah chapter 10 today. A chapter that draws a clear distinction between what is lifeless and what is living.

Yahuah speaks to His people about the emptiness of idols—things formed by human hands, shaped by culture, upheld by tradition, yet without breath, without power and without truth. In contrast, He reveals Himself as the Living Elohim—the One who formed the earth, who speaks, who moves, who is alive and present. This is such a needed word for this moment.

After the journey of purging, returning, refining, choosing the ancient paths, aligning worship, receiving healing, and coming into deeper knowing that Day 8 calls us to discern what is truly alive in our walk with Him because not everything that looks spiritual carries life.

Jeremiah 10 reminds us that anything outside of Yahuah, anything we lean on for identity, security, or direction that is not rooted in Him, becomes an idol—silent, powerless, unable to sustain, but Yahuah… He is not distant He is not silent… He is alive.

He is the One who establishes truth, who governs with righteousness, and who desires a people who recognize Him as their only source.

For Us in This Moment

Day 8 of the Omer is an invitation to realign with the Living Elohim. Ask Him today:
“Abba Yahuah, is there anything in my life that I am holding onto that is not truly from You?”

Let Him gently reveal and lovingly realign because when everything else falls away, what remains is Him… and He is more than enough.

Yahuah is not asking you to let go of things to leave you empty, but to draw you into what is real and living. Every time something lifeless is removed, it makes room for His presence to fill that space with truth, peace, and life.

You are being anchored in something unshakable—not built by human hands, but established by Him.

Stay close, stay aware, and trust that as you walk with the Living Elohim, you are being led into a life that is full, steady, and deeply rooted in Him.

Shalom beloved,
