OMER COUNT DAY 7
🌿 Counting the Omer – Day 7
Jeremiah 9 | Knowing Yahuah in Truth
As we step into Day 7 of the Omer, we are looking into Book of Jeremiah chapter 9…a chapter that carries both deep sorrow and a profound revelation of what truly matters.
Jeremiah expresses a grief over a people who have turned away, who have chosen deception over truth, and who no longer know Yahuah in intimacy. There is a sense that knowledge has been replaced with distance, words without relationship and awareness without encounter and then, in the midst of this, comes a powerful shift.
Yahuah reveals what He values most:
Not wisdom, not might, not riches—but that one understands and knows Him.
This is the heart of the message for us right now.
After the purging, after returning, refining, choosing the ancient paths, aligning worship, and receiving healing—Day 7 brings us to a place of focus and completion in this cycle:
Do we truly know Him?
Not just know about Him. Not just speak of Him. But know Him in truth, in relationship, in daily walking, because it is possible to grow in knowledge, in discipline, even in obedience—and still miss the intimacy He desires.
Jeremiah 9 reminds us that Yahuah delights in:
- Lovingkindness
- Justice
- Righteousness
Those who know Him will reflect these in their lives.
For Us in This Moment
Day 7 of the Omer is an invitation to return to intimacy. Ask Him today:
“Abba Yahuah, do I truly know You—and am I walking in what matters to You?” Let this not be a question of pressure, but of drawing near, because this is what He desires most—not performance, but relationship.
Beloved, Yahuah is not distant from you… He is drawing you closer. Every step you have taken in this journey has been leading you into deeper intimacy with Him.
You are not being called to strive for knowledge, but to rest in knowing Him. Even in the moments where you feel unsure, He remains near, revealing Himself gently and faithfully.
Stay open, stay present, and trust that He is making Himself known to you in a real and personal way.
This is the beauty of the journey—you are not just being refined, you are being brought near.
Shalom,
