OMER COUNT DAY 47

Jeremiah 49 | When Father Confronts False Security

Jeremiah 49 moves through several nations, and although each one is different, the deeper thread running through the chapter is clear: Father is confronting every false place of security people have trusted in outside of Him.

Some trusted in wisdom, others trusted in power and then some trust in wealth, strongholds, reputation, or distance from danger but one by one, those securities are exposed as unstable and this is deeply prophetic for the hour we are living in.

Father is shaking every place where human confidence has replaced covenant dependence. He is uncovering hidden areas where people have leaned more on systems, positions, knowledge, or self-protection than on Him because the restored remnant cannot be rooted in false stability. They must become a people fully anchored in Yahuah alone.

The name of Yahuah is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe.
— Proverbs 18:10

Those who trust in Yahuah are like Mount Zion, which cannot be moved.
— Psalms 125:1

This is the hour where Father is teaching His people the difference between appearing secure… and truly being established in Him.

The Chapter Unfolded

In Jeremiah 49, Jeremiah prophesies against multiple nations including Ammon, Edom, Damascus, Kedar, Hazor, and Elam. Each nation carried its own form of confidence and identity. Some trusted in wisdom and reputation. Others trusted in isolation, wealth, or military strength.

Edom especially stands out because of its pride and belief that its high places could keep it untouchable but throughout the chapter, Father makes something very clear: no earthly strength can ultimately preserve what is outside of alignment with Him and yet, even in the middle of these prophecies, glimpses of mercy appear again.

Father still speaks of future restoration for some nations, revealing that His heart is never separated from mercy, even in correction.

Diving Deeper Within

What have I been leaning on lately for security?

Do I place more confidence in natural strength, preparation, finances, knowledge, or outward stability than in Father’s leading?

Are there hidden places of pride where I secretly believe I can sustain myself without deep dependence on Him and deeper still—if Father began shaking the things I rely on most, would my peace remain anchored in Him?

True security is not found in what surrounds us, it is found in Who holds us.

Abba Yahuah,

Thank You that You alone are my true refuge and security.

Search my heart and expose every false place of dependence within me. Where I have trusted in my own strength, wisdom, comfort, or earthly security more than in You, bring me back into full alignment.

Teach me to rest deeply in Your faithfulness and not in temporary things that can easily be shaken.

Strengthen Your remnant in this hour to remain rooted, humble, and fully dependent on You alone.

Let my peace remain steady because my life is anchored in Your presence.

In the Name of Yahushua. HalleluYAH!

Beloved, the shaking happening around the world is not meant to drive the remnant into fear, it is meant to drive us deeper into dependence on Father and the beautiful thing is this: what is anchored in Him cannot be shaken away.

So remain close to Him, build your life on His voice, His truth, and His presence because when earthly securities fail, covenant still stands firm.

Shalom beloved,
