OMER COUNT DAY 42
Jeremiah 44 | When Hearts Refuse to Turn Back
Beloved, in this chapter, Jeremiah speaks to the people who fled to Egypt. Even after everything they had witnessed—the warnings, the destruction of Jerusalem, the consequences of rebellion—their hearts still remained resistant.
Yahuah reminds them why judgment came upon the land in the first place. It was because the people continually turned toward idolatry, compromise, and disobedience while refusing correction but instead of humbling themselves, many of the people respond defensively. They openly declare that they will continue following the practices they had become attached to.
This is what makes the chapter so heavy. The issue is no longer lack of warning. The issue is a heart that no longer wants to turn back and this is such an important reminder for us: repeated compromise slowly hardens the heart if conviction is continually ignored.
As it is written:
“Today, if you hear His voice, do not harden your hearts.”
— Hebrews 3:15
“These people honor Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me.”
— Matthew 15:8
Father has never only desired outward acknowledgment, He has always desired surrendered hearts.
The Prophetic Shadow | The Restored Remnant
We are living in an hour where Father is calling His people out of mixture. Out of divided loyalties, partial obedience and out of serving Him outwardly while still holding onto worldly systems inwardly.
Just like in Jeremiah’s day, there are many who want the comfort of covenant without the surrender covenant requires, but Father is purifying a remnant in this hour.
A people who will not continue hardening their hearts when conviction comes. A people willing to repent quickly, respond humbly, and walk fully aligned with His truth.
This is part of the restoration process, because restoration is not only about blessings returning but it is about hearts returning.
As it is written:
“Create in me a clean heart, O YAHUAH, and renew a steadfast spirit within me.”
— Psalms 51:10
“Come out from among them and be separate.”
— 2 Corinthians 6:17
The Restored Remnant cannot carry Egypt and covenant at the same time.
Father is calling us deeper into holiness, sincerity, and wholehearted devotion.
Diving Deeper Within
Have I become desensitized to areas where Father has been convicting me?
Are there compromises, habits, or mindsets I continue defending instead of surrendering?
Do I truly want transformation… or only comfort and when Father corrects me, do I soften before Him—or become resistant inwardly? Because a soft heart is one of the greatest protections in this hour.
Abba Yahuah,
Search my heart deeply today.
Remove every area of compromise, pride, or resistance within me. Where I have ignored conviction or defended what You are asking me to surrender, bring me back into alignment.
Give me a soft and responsive heart before You. Teach me to walk in holiness, sincerity, and truth.
Separate me from every mixture that pulls me away from full devotion to You.
Purify Your remnant in this hour, and let my life reflect genuine surrender and covenant faithfulness.
In the Name of Yahushua. HalleluYAH!
Beloved, Father corrects because He desires restoration—not rejection.
If He is bringing conviction, it is because His mercy is still reaching toward you. A heart that remains teachable before Him will continue to grow, heal, and be transformed.
So do not fear His correction, just lean into it because the remnant Father is raising in this hour will be marked by humble hearts, clean hands, and unwavering devotion to Him.
Shalom beloved,
