OMER COUNT DAY 37
Jeremiah 39 | When the Walls Finally Fall
There are moments in history, and in our personal walk with the Father, where the things that have been warned about for a long time finally come to pass. Not suddenly, but after many calls to return, many opportunities to realign and many moments where mercy was extended again and again and when those moments arrive, they reveal something very deep: whether our hearts have truly responded to Father, or whether we have continued leaning on structures, comforts and securities that were never meant to replace obedience.
In this hour, many things are being shaken, things people trusted in and things that looked strong and permanent but Father is allowing walls to fall where hearts have refused to fully surrender to Him. Not to destroy but to expose what cannot stand outside of truth.
WHAT DOES JEREMIAH 39 POINTS TO?
In Jeremiah 39, the warnings Jeremiah carried for years finally unfold before the eyes of the people. Jerusalem is overtaken and the walls are broken through. Even the king attempts to flee, but he is captured and the city is burned.
It is a painful chapter because it shows the reality of what happens when Father’s voice is continually resisted but even in the middle of judgment, we still see His mercy.
Jeremiah is protected, Ebed-melech, the one who showed compassion and acted righteously, is remembered and preserved by Yahuah and this is important, because it reminds us that Father sees those who remain aligned with Him, even in difficult times. While everything around them was collapsing, Father was still watching over those who trusted Him.
Diving Deeper Within
What have I been leaning on for security besides Father, are there areas where He has been calling me to deeper surrender, but I have delayed responding because things still seemed stable outwardly and if certain “walls” in my life were shaken, would my faith remain standing?
This chapter also asks us something deeper: am I willing to stand with truth, even when the majority moves in another direction? Because in the end, it is not the crowd that preserves us, but those who is in alignment with Him.
My Abba Yahuah,
Thank You for Your mercy and for the many times You call Your people back to You. Please search my heart and reveal anything I have trusted in more than You. Where I have relied on my own strength, comfort, or understanding, bring me back into full alignment with Your truth.
Help me not to ignore Your voice or delay obedience. Strengthen my heart to remain faithful, even when things around me feel uncertain or shaken and teach me to stand firmly in You, knowing that You alone are my security and foundation.
Keep me close to Your heart and steady in Your ways.
In the Name of Yahushua. HalleluYAH!
Beloved, even when things around you feel unstable, Father remains faithful. He sees those who trust Him. He remembers those who walk uprightly before Him. And while the world may shake, those who are anchored in Him will not be abandoned.
So beloved, stay close to His voice…stay soft before Him….and stay aligned.
Shalom beloved,
