OMER COUNT DAY 18

Omer Count – Day 18

Jeremiah 20 | When the Call Feels Heavy

There are days in this journey where everything feels aligned… and then there are days like this one. In Book of Jeremiah chapter 20, Jeremiah is not standing strong and unshaken—he is wrestling. He’s been mocked, rejected, even punished for speaking what Yahuah gave him. And you can feel it… he’s tired and He even reaches a point where he says, “I’m not going to speak anymore”, but then something unexpected happens.

He realizes he can’t stay silent. The word within him burns like fire—so deeply rooted that even in frustration, even in weariness, he cannot hold it back and that’s where this chapter meets us, because not every moment in this walk feels powerful or victorious.

Sometimes it feels costly and ometimes it feels misunderstood but sometimes you carry something that others don’t see or value.

Day 18 is about honesty in the calling. It’s about those moments where you don’t pretend to be strong, but you also don’t walk away because even when it feels heavy… there is still a fire within you that comes from Him.

A Different Kind of Response Today

Today isn’t about having all the right words. It’s simply about being real: “Abba Yahuah… You know where I am. Strengthen me from within.” No striving and no performance…just honesty.

🌿 A Gentle Reminder

You don’t have to feel strong to be held steady. Even in your questions, even in your tired moments, Yahuah is not stepping back but He is drawing near.

What He placed inside of you has not disappeared, that fire is still there, even if it feels quiet and in the right moment, it will rise again. You are not alone in this… and you are not without strength.

Shalom beloved,
