OMER COUNT DAY 16

Counting the Omer – Day 16

Jeremiah 18 | In the Potter’s Hands

In Jeremiah chapter 18, Yahuah sends Jeremiah to the potter’s house. Not with a long explanation, but with a picture of clay, being shaped and being reworked and at one point, the vessel in the potter’s hand is marred and not turning out as intended, but what does the potter do?

He doesn’t discard it, no, he reshapes it and forming it again into something good and that’s the heart of this chapter and is something deeply intimate and honestly, it meets us right where we are because there are moments in this journey where things don’t feel perfectly formed. Where parts of our lives feel unfinished, maybe even broken or out of place but Jeremiah 18 reminds us of something powerful: We are still in His hands.

Yahuah is not done shaping and not done forming and definitely not done restoring, and yes, there is also a call to respond to remain soft, to not resist His hands and to allow Him to do the deep work, because clay that hardens becomes difficult to shape… but clay that remains yielded can be formed into something beautiful.

How do we lean into this today?

Today is about surrender, not in fear, but in trust. “Abba Yahuah, keep my heart soft in Your hands. Shape me according to Your will.” Even if you don’t understand the process… trust the Potter.

🌿

Beloved, you are not a finished product, and that is not a failure, it is a promise. Yahuah is still working on you with care, intention, and purpose.

Every moment, even the difficult ones, is part of His shaping process. You are not being discarded, you are being refined and formed into something beautiful in His hands.

Stay soft, stay willing, and trust that the One who formed you knows exactly what He is doing.

HalleluYAH! Shalom beloved,
