OMER COUNT DAY 15

🌿 Counting the Omer – Day 15

Jeremiah 17 | Rooted in Yahuah

There is a powerful contrast in Book of Jeremiah chapter 17. Two kinds of people, two ways of living and two very different outcomes. One trusts in man, in flesh, in what can be seen and controlled. The other places full trust in Yahuah and the picture given is so clear.

One becomes like a dry shrub in the desert…struggling, disconnected, lacking life. The other is like a tree planted by the waters…steady, rooted, continually nourished, even in times of heat.

This is not just poetic, it’s deeply revealing, because it shows us that what we trust in determines how we stand.

Day 15 brings us into this place of honest reflection.

After everything we’ve walked through—the purging, returning, refining, alignment, healing, intimacy, covenant, endurance, and being set apart—now the question becomes: Where are we truly rooted? Not just in words… but in the quiet places of the heart.

Jeremiah also reminds us that the heart can be deceptive, difficult to fully understand but Yahuah sees clearly. He searches, He knows, and He lovingly leads us into truth. This is not to expose us for shame, but to anchor us rightly because when we are rooted in Him, we are not shaken by changing seasons.

Lean Into This Today

Today is not about striving, it’s about repositioning your trust. Maybe quietly, simply: “Abba Yahuah, let my life be rooted in You alone.” Let Him show you where your roots are… and gently draw them deeper into Him.

Being rooted in Yahuah is a process, not a moment. You are being planted, strengthened, and nourished day by day. Even when you don’t feel growth, He is working beneath the surface, establishing you in ways that will sustain you in every season.

You will not dry out, you will not be moved, because your source is not the world around you, but Him within you. Stay close, stay grounded, and trust that your roots are going deeper than you can see 🌿

Shalom beloved,
