40 DAYS AND 40 NIGHTS – A PROPHETIC WINDOW

Beloved,

I want you to pause for a moment and really take this in…

From 28 February to 8 April, there was a conflict unfolding between Israel, the United States and Iran. It began with strikes, tension rising quickly, and then—after exactly 40 days—it came to a ceasefire.

Not 39… not 41… but 40.

Immediately, something in the spirit should stir within us, because Scripture has shown us again and again that 40 days and 40 nights is never a coincident, it is a set time. A measured window.

Think about it…

In the days of Noah, the rain fell for 40 days before the earth was cleansed and a new beginning emerged, Moses went up the mountain for 40 days before receiving what was written by the hand of YAHUAH, Elijah walked 40 days to reach the place of encounter and YAHUSHUA fasted for 40 days before stepping into His ministry.

Do you see the pattern?

Forty is the space between what was… and what is about to be revealed. It is the place of testing, of exposure, of preparation.

So when we look at these past 40 days, we must not only see war in the natural. We must discern what has been happening in the spirit. Nations have been shaken and what was hidden has been brought into the open. Nothing is what seems to be, and then, on the 40th day… a pause.

Not full peace, not resolution, but a restraint. A holding back. Almost as if time itself was allowed to breathe for a moment.

Beloved, this is what we must understand…this ceasefire is not necessarily the end. It feels more like a threshold, because after every 40 in Scripture, something follows. Either there is repentance and realignment… or there is a continuation, even an escalation, once the testing has run its course and so we find ourselves standing in that very moment now.

Not just asking what these 40 days meant…but asking, with discernment and humility before YAHUAH—
