Torah Portion: Bereshit
Bereshit – בְּרֵאשִׁית
In the Beginning
Beloved, this is a sacred and beautifully appointed moment in time. As we step into Bereshit, beginning at sunset on 3 April 2026, it aligns directly with Pesach. This is not coincidence — this is divine timing.
At the very moment we remember deliverance, Father brings us back to “In the beginning.” This means something powerful: You are not just looking back at what He has done… You are stepping into what He is now starting.
Bereshit reminds us that when Yahuah speaks, things begin to form. Light breaks into darkness. Order comes where there was chaos. And in the same way, He is speaking over your life again — bringing alignment, clarity, and purpose.
So step into this moment with expectation. This is a new beginning that comes from Him. Stay close to His voice, walk in what He reveals, and trust that what He has begun… He will bring to fullness.
HalleluYAH 🤍

The Hebrew Meaning of the Name
Beloved, after blessing… comes beginning.
Bereshit (בְּרֵאשִׁית) means “In the beginning.”
- Be (בְּ) — in
- Reshit (רֵאשִׁית) — beginning, first, chief, origin
This word carries something deeper than just a starting point and it speaks of divine order, divine intention, and divine design. This is not just a beginning, it is the beginning that comes from Yahuah Himself. A beginning where He speaks… and things come into being.
What This Portion Is About
Bereshit takes us back to the very start — creation.
We see:
- The creation of the heavens and the earth
- Light separated from darkness
- Order brought out of chaos
- The creation of mankind in His image
- The garden, relationship, and instruction
- The fall and its consequences
- The beginning of two paths — righteousness and corruption
This portion shows us that everything begins with the Word of Yahuah. He speaks… and creation responds.

Prophetic Alignment — Restored Remnant Rising, New Beginning after Refining
Beloved, this is where everything comes together.
After walking through:
- Going out
- Coming in
- Standing and being positioned
- Being sent
- Learning to hear
- Receiving the blessing
Now… we arrive at Bereshit. A new beginning. This is not a return to where we were before, this is a beginning after refinement. During these 40 Days of Heart Purging toward Pesach, Father has been doing a deep work within us. He has been removing, aligning, correcting and preparing and now, just like in the beginning, He begins to speak again.
This is not just creation language, it is restoration language and for the restored remnant, Bereshit is a reminder: Your life is not defined by what was…but by what Yahuah is now speaking and just as creation responded to His voice, so must we.
This is a call to come back to His Word as the foundation, to allow Him to speak into every area of our lives again because every true new beginning starts with His voice.
Prayer
Abba Yahuah,
Thank You that You are the Elohim of new beginnings. As we step into Bereshit, we surrender every area of our lives to You again. Just as You spoke creation into existence, speak into our hearts, our lives, and our future.
Father where there has been confusion, please bring clarity and where there has been disorder, bring alignment. Let Your Word be the foundation of everything we build.
After this season of heart purging, we ask that You establish us in truth, in purity, and in Your purpose. Make us sensitive to Your voice, quick to respond, and faithful to walk in what You speak. We receive this new beginning from You.
In the Name of Yahushua HaMashiach, HalleluYAH.
Beloved, as you step into this moment, know that this is more than a turning of a page — this is a divine beginning.
The same Elohim who spoke light into darkness is speaking over your life again. Do not look back with uncertainty, but look forward with expectation.
What lies ahead has been prepared, ordered, and aligned by His hand. As you walk with Him, you will see things come into place that once seemed unclear.
Trust His voice, follow His leading, and remain close to His heart. This new beginning carries His breath, His light, and His purpose and as you walk in it, you will see His faithfulness unfold step by step. HalleluYAH 🤍
Shabbat Shalom beloved,
