Day 35 – Day of AWE 6 – G6035 – The Strenght of Meekness

MODEH ANI | Morning Prayer

ABBA YAHUAH Your glory reflects in the sun’s golden colors as the day turns from darkness to brightness, just like we transform in Your Light when You pull us gently out of the darkness into Your marvelous Light. Thank You for once again awakening me in this day, choosen by You as another day to glorify You and yield myself under Your will. Father I humble myself to You and open my heart to be teachable in Your presence. Help me to be meek and not self-exalting because I am depending on You with my whole heart. I surrender my life to You because I want to operate humbly, guided by Your strength. In the beautiful Name of YahusHUA. HalleluYAH!

STRONG’S HEBREW DICTIONARY – H6035 – ANAV

Strong’s H6035 in Hebrew is עָנָו (‘anav), which means humble, meek, lowly. One of the clearest verses using H6035 is:📖 Numbers 12:3 “Now the man Moses was very meek [H6035], above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.”

Here ‘anav describes Moses’ character — not weakness, but deep humility and dependence on Yahuah. It also appears in other places, for example: Psalm 37:11 — “But the meek [H6035] shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.” Psalm 76:9 — “When YAHUAH arose to judgment, to save all the meek [H6035] of the earth. Selah.”

👉 This word is often linked to those who yield themselves to Yahuah’s will, and in return, He lifts them up.

📖 🌿 Walking in ‘Anav — The Call to Meekness Teshuvah (Return):

The word עָנָו (‘anav) calls us back to the heart of true humility. It reminds us that meekness is not weakness, but strength surrendered to Yahuah. Moses, the great leader of Israel, is described as “very meek, more than all men on the face of the earth” (Numbers 12:3). Yet this same man stood before Pharaoh, lifted his staff to part the sea, and interceded for a rebellious nation. His power did not come from himself, but from a yielded heart.

In meekness we confess:

I cannot lead myself — I need His guidance.

I cannot control others — I need His Spirit to temper my responses.

I cannot secure justice by my own hand — I need to trust His timing.

To return in Teshuvah is to lay down pride, self-reliance, and the urge to fight for our own way. It is to bow low before the King who defends the meek.

Operating in Meekness 🌿

1. Humility Before Yahuah

🌿 Reflect Questions:

🌿 Do I submit my plans to Yahuah’s will, or do I insist on my own way?

🌿 In moments of uncertainty, do I seek Yahuah ’s guidance first, or try to control outcomes?

Practical Examples:

Begin each day with a short prayer: “Father, I surrender my heart and choices to You.”

Before making decisions, pause and ask, “Does this honor Yahuah’s ways?”

2. Gentleness Toward Others

Reflection Questions:

🌿 When someone wrongs me, do I respond with anger or with grace?

🌿 Do I speak in ways that build up others, or in ways that assert myself?

Practical Examples:

👉🏻Choose to listen fully before responding in disagreement.

👉🏻 Speak words of encouragement at least once daily, especially to those who challenge or frustrate you.

3. Trust in YAHUAH’s Justice

Reflection Questions:

🌱Do I feel the need to fight for what I think is “fair,” or can I trust Yahuah to vindicate me?

🌱How often do I let worry or envy take the place of faith in Yahuah’s timing?

🌱 Practical Examples:

When faced with injustice, write a prayer of release: “Father, I leave this in Your hands.”Meditate on verses like Psalm 37:11, focusing on the promise that the meek will inherit the earth.

📖 🌿 Walking in ‘Anav — The Call to Meekness Berachah (Blessing):

The blessing of ‘anav is rich. Scripture assures: “The meek will He guide in judgment, and the meek will He teach His way” (Psalm 25:9). Guidance and wisdom flow to the humble heart.

The meek shall inherit the earth, and delight themselves in the abundance of peace” (Psalm 37:11). Inheritance and shalom are given to those who wait on Yahuah. Yahushua Himself promised rest to the meek: “Learn of Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart, and you shall find rest for your souls” (Matthew 11:29).

The blessing is clear: when we walk in ‘anav, we step into divine peace, lasting inheritance, and the deep rest of knowing we are safe in His hands.

To embrace meekness is to live a life anchored in humility, clothed in gentleness, and rooted in trust. The world exalts pride, but Yahuah lifts up the meek. When we return to Him in ‘anav, He crowns us not with weakness but with peace, inheritance, and eternal rest.

Operating in meekness in our soul soil isn’t passive — it’s active humility. It’s a conscious choice to bow before YAHUAH, show gentleness to others, and trust His timing. Teshuvah is daily: noticing where pride enters, confessing it, and turning back to YAHUAH’s path. Each act of surrender strengthens the heart of the meek.

Teshuvah [תשובה] brings Berachah [ברכה], the blessing of our King.

Shalom,
