Day 28 (Elul 28) – SEPARATION BATH G628 BY HIS WORD

MODEH ANI – MORNING PRAYER

Abba YAHUAH, yesterday has passed, and today I awaken to the freshness of a new day, a day You created to be filled with Your glory, to be exalted and worshiped by me in every part of my life. Thank You for awakening me, for granting me another day drenched in Your hope, Your grace, and Your unfailing love.

Father, as I journey onward with You across the soil of my soul, I feel Your cleansing presence. Wash me, Father—by the blood of the Lamb, by the power of Your Word, and by Your Spirit—so that I may be refined by fire in the days ahead, standing firm, deeply rooted in You. Lead me into Your waters, where I will find rest, renewal, and the fullness of Your presence.

In the beautiful, magnificent name of YAHUSHUA, halleluYAH!

APOLOUO (G628)

The Hebrew word “Apolouo” (G628) comes from ‘apo’ (G575), meaning “to separate,” and ‘louo’ (G3068), meaning “to bathe the whole person.” Together, it carries the beautiful meaning of a “separation bath of the whole person.”

From the very beginning, in Genesis, we see water covering the earth. Then YAHUAH separated the water from the soil, washing the ground as the first step before He began to create/build. The whole earth was made Apolouocleaned, prepared, and ready.

Just six chapters later, YAHUAH washed the earth again, and once more it was Apolouo. Beloved, this is not just Biblical pattern—it is a divine shadow for our lives. Our soul-soil, too, must be washed, purified, and made Apolouo repeatedly, so that we may be prepared for all that He desires to do in us.

In the coming days, we will reflect on several biblical examples of Apolouo, where Father reveals how He purifies His children through His separation baths. Through these waters, we are made spotless, sanctified, and ready to stand in the presence of our Bridegroom and King. Let us open our hearts to be washed, cleansed, and renewed, step by step, by His perfect hand.

REFLECTION: Apolouo by the Word

We all have our daily routines. When we wake up, we start the day by brushing our teeth, stepping into the shower, washing ourselves from head to toe, and spending time grooming our bodies—sometimes even more than once, depending on how we feel. It’s something so natural to us that we hardly stop to think about it. It’s in our nature to care for our flesh and to be fully, fleshly apolouo.

Beloved, if we invest so much time caring for our physical bodies, how much more should we spend time with YAHUAH, cleansing and nurturing our spiritual soul-soil? Spending time in the Word of YAHUAH is like taking a spiritual apolouo. It not only cleanses us, but restores us, nourishes us, and fills our soul-soil with the most precious spiritual nutrients, enabling us to bear fruit according to His Word.

If our spiritual soul-soil is not washed and made apolouo, how can the pure seed of His Word grow in us? How will we know right from wrong if we have not been cleansed and purified by the living Word of YAHUAH?

TESHUVAH Return: HIS Word is peppermint fresh nourishment

Beloved, just as the waters once covered the earth and YAHUAH separated and washed it, so must your soul be made Apolouo. Let His Word flow over your soul-soil, cleansing, restoring, and nourishing every hidden part. Only then will the seed of His truth grow strong and produce the fruit of righteousness in your life.

The act of Apolouo is not for the flesh alone. YAHUAH calls us to daily wash our souls with His Word. Confess, repent, and let His Spirit, Ruach HaKodesh, cleanse your heart. Through this spiritual Apolouo, you will bear fruit according to His Word and stand firm in His ways.

Come, let us TESHUVAH back to Father’s Word, and allow YAHUAH to wash your soul-soil. Receive His Apolouo through the living Word, and let every seed of truth take root within you. Do not neglect this cleansing, beloved, for it is through the washing of His Word that your spirit becomes spotless, sanctified, and ready to meet your Bridegroom face-to-face.

Spend time in the Word of YAHUAH every day. Make it your daily nourishment, your spiritual bath, and the source of wisdom, discernment, and strength. Just as your body needs cleansing and care each day, your soul-soil needs the daily touch of YAHUAH through His Word, to remain fertile and fruitful for His glory.

BERACHAH Blessing: From Turmoil to Cleansed Soul-Soil

Beloved, as you return to YAHUAH and His Word, your soul-soil is washed and made Apolouo. Your sins are forgiven; you are cleansed from all unrighteousness, and your spirit is restored.

Your steps are guided, your heart is illuminated, and your mind is set on His truth. Peace fills you, and your soul rests securely in the steadfast love of YAHUAH. You are like a tree planted by streams of water, fruitful in every season, bearing the fruit of righteousness.

YAHUAH watches over you; His Word protects you, strengthens you, and shields you from every trial. Your heart rejoices in His statutes, and His joy becomes your strength. The Word of YAHUAH is your lamp, your light, your daily nourishment, and your spiritual Apolouo. Walk in it, meditate on it, and let it flow over your soul-soil every day. HalleluYAH!

SCRIPTURE: Apolouo of the Word: Born of the Imperishable Seed

Having purified your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to sincere brotherly love, love one another fervently out of a pure heart, being regenerated, not by corruptible seed, but incorruptible, through the living Word of YAHUAH which abides forever. Because ‘All flesh is as grass, and all the glory of men as the flower of grass; the grass was dried, and its flower fell out, (Isa 40:5-8) but the WORD OF YAHUAH remans forever” And this is the very WORD that was announced to you.” (1 Peter 1:22-25)

Beloved, we have been born again, not of perishable seed, but of the imperishable seed — the living and enduring Word of YAHUAH. This is the heart of spiritual Apolouo. Just as a bath cleanses the body from head to toe, the Word washes our soul-soil, removing the dirt of sin, fear, and doubt.

Every time we immerse ourselves in the Scriptures, the imperishable seed takes root in our hearts. It penetrates the hidden places of our soul, nourishing, strengthening, and purifying us from within. The washing is not only cleansing but transformative, preparing us to bear fruit that will last — fruit of righteousness, love, and steadfastness in YAHUAH, and through HIS Ruach HaKodesh.

The world may wither, and human efforts may fade like grass in the sun, but the Word that flows through us endures forever. Each moment spent in His Word is a moment of renewal, a spiritual bath that leaves the soul refreshed, fertile, and ready for the eternal work He is doing in us.

Beloved, let the living Word of YAHUAH continually wash you. Let it cleanse your thoughts, purify your heart, and sanctify your soul-soil. Be rooted in this imperishable seed, and your life will reflect His glory, bearing eternal fruit for the Kingdom of YAHUAH.

HalleluYAH!
