Day 3 (Elul 3) – Looking Back Honestly

Modeh Ani: Practice to get into the pattern of thanking THE KING IN THE FIELD the first thing you do when you open your eyes in the morning. Don’t reach for your phone or even brush your teeth before you start your day in the field with the KING. It can be short and powerful, but it must be the first thing you do after you wake up. https://mattaniahministries.co.za/2025/08/24/the-morning-prayer-the-modeh-ani/

Reflection: True return begins not with grand gestures, but with honesty. We need to start seeing ourselves for who we are — without excuses and without hiding behind distractions. It is in facing the truth about who we are that the journey of transformation begins. Many times, we cannot see the truth about who we are, that’s why it is important to ask Yahushua to reveal the truth about ourselves and to open our eyes.

Teshuvah (Repentance): Bring one weakness, one failure, before THE KING IN THE FIELD with sincerity. Don’t dress it up or minimize it—simply lay it before Him. This honest act of returning is the heart of Teshuvah: turning back, opening your inner self to His light. – SELAH – pause and reflect. Don’t rush past this—pause and ask Ruach HaKodesh to reveal what needs attention. After repentance, the KING IN THE FIELD will always do the restoration. This is not a “quick fix”, trust Him in the process, and walk it out with Him. This is the reason why He is in the field with you today.

Berachah (Blessing): May this honesty become a doorway to healing. As we admit our struggles and expose our hearts to YAHUSHUA’s care, His blessing flows in—not just forgiveness, but total freedom. The courage to face the truth invites repentance that leads to restoration, peace, renewed strength and the blessings of the King.

Today, pause, reflect, confess sincerely, and receive freely. The path back with THE KING IN THE FIELD always begins with honesty. Being honest about your weakness opens the door for YAHUAH’s forgiveness and purification.

Scripture: “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous that He may forgive us the sins and may cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we made Him a liar, and His Word is not in us.” (1 John 1:8-9)

Prayer: Father, please help me take courage so that I can honestly admit my mistakes and be open about my weaknesses before You. I want Your truth to be in me; that is why I confess my sins here in the field to You today. Please forgive me, Father, and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. HALLELUYAH!

Teshuvah [תשובה] brings Berachah [ברכה], the blessing of our King.

Shalom,
