EXODUS GENERATION VS REVELATION GENERATION

Biblical Calendar: 8th day of AV (5th Month)

DEPART FOR ISRAEL COUNTDOWN: 50 DAYS

Shalom beloved,

We are in a very interesting generation, also called the “Revelation Generation” and there are a few very good reasons to confirm this interesting season we are in. But before I’m saddling up the end time horse again, we first need to look at the 5th Biblical Month. We are currently in a significant timeline if we look back in Biblical history and what happened exactly on these dates in YAHUAH’s beautiful Scripture.

THREE WEEKS OF MOURNING

We are currently in the “Three Weeks of Mourning” that started on July 13th (Exactly one month after Israel attacked Iran) and ends on August 3rd, 2025. The Three Weeks of Mourning is also known as “Bein HaMetzarim” and is a period on the Biblical Calendar that commemorates the destruction of the First & the Second Temples in Jerusalem.

It begins on the 17th of the 4th Biblical Month and ends on the 9th of the 5th Biblical Month.

FOUR TRAGEDIES THAT OCCURED ON AV 9 FOR THE JEWISH PEOPEL

1. EXODUS GENERATION CONDEMNED TO DIE IN DESERT (1312 BCE)

On the 9th of Av of the year 2449 from creation (1312 BCE), the Exodus Generation of Jews who came out of Egypt under Moses’ leadership 16 months earlier were condemned to die in the desert and the entry into the Land of Israel was delayed for 40 years.

As related in Numbers 14, when the Spies that Moses sent to the Land of Canaan returned with their disheartening report, the people wept all night — the night of Av 9th — proclaiming that they’d rather return to Egypt than attempt to conquer and settle it; YAHUAH decreed that the entire generation would wander in the desert for 40 years until the last of them died out.

“The people cried that night.” What night was it? It was the night of the 9th of Av, the day when the Holy Temples in Jerusalem would be destroyed, and a day the Jewish people would mourn every year. Back in the desert, every year on the 9th of AV, the people would dig graves and go to sleep in them, understanding that those of them who had reached the age of 60 would not rise in the morning.

On the 40th year of their desert wandering, they dug graves as usual, but no one died. Fearing that they had miscalculated the day, they tried again the next night, and the next night. This continued until the 15th of Av, when the full moon indicated that the decree of death had been lifted, and they celebrated.

2 & 3 HOLY TEMPLES DESTROYED (423 BCE & 70 CE)

Both the first and second Holy Temples which stood in Jerusalem were destroyed on Av 9: the First Temple by the Babylonians in the year 3338 from creation (423 BCE), and the second by the Romans in 3829 (69 CE).

The Temples’ destruction represents the greatest tragedy in Jewish history, for it marks their descent into Galut–the state of physical exile and spiritual displacement in which we still find themselves today. Thus, the Destruction is mourned as a tragedy that affects their lives today, 2,000 years later, no less than the very generation that experienced it firsthand.

4. FALL OF BETAR (133 CE)

Betar, the last stronghold in the heroic Bar Kochba rebellion, fell to the Romans on the 9th of Av of the year 3893 (133 CE) after a three-year siege. 580,000 Jews died by starvation or the sword, including Bar Kochba, the leader of the rebellion.

EXODUS GENERATION VS REVELATION GENERATION

The “EXODUS GENERATION” was condemned to die in the desert although they were delivered from Egypt and all his pagan ways, they still were a disobedient, murmuring group of people and had to pay the price, wondering around the desert for 40 years. They were cursed for each day the spies went out into Canaan – one year for every day. (Numbers 14:33-34) This is probably one of the most heart-breaking stories in the history of the Israelites due to fear, disobedience and ungratefulness. They exit slavery to enter a land of milk and honey, but the enemy brought fear into their hearts, and they rejected the promise of YAHUAH. How very, very sad.

The REVELATION GENERATION is in the same “pattern” as the EXODUS GENERATION. We also have the opportunity to get out of slavery and receive the promises from YAHUAH to enter for an eternity into the “Land of Milk and Honey”. But do we repent and turn away from the pagan ways of modern Egypt and stand with fear, disobedience and ungratefulness? Or are we embracing the promises of our Almighty YAHUAH as a repented, purified, restored and prepared people in the sight of the Almighty, ready to see our Bridegroom and enter into the Promise Land of Eternity?

Beloved, the hourglass is nearly empty, and I see in the Spirit only a few grains of sand left in it that still needs to drop and then the door will be closed (Matt 25:10). Father’s Word also says that only He will draw those near to Him (John 6:44), and also that there are many called but only a few chosen (Matt 22:14).

But beloved, I urge you today to stop being too busy and consumed by the world (the modern Egypt) and his ways, and to turn to YAHUAH, to except His Son, YAHUSHUAH, to repent and get baptized and restored into the promises of YAHUAH and His Ancient Path. Because if your heart is hardened, full of pride and disobedience, you may be cursed longer than 40 years like the Exodus Generation were.

Please don’t regret this moment, because in a moment of murmuration the Israelites missed their promises, and they regret it until today. Please don’t fall in the same trap they did. We are the Revelation Generation with a purpose. We will witness the fulfillment of Biblical Prophecies which others just read, dream, wonder and talked about. Shake off the dust of the world and take the right hand of YAHUAH and walk in His promises because that is a game changer and a life saver opportunity that only He can give us.

Let’s strive to be a repented, purified, restored and prepared people in the sight of the Almighty, ready to see our Bridegroom and enter into the Promise Land of Eternity as the REVELATION GENERATION.

Ok, now that we are finished with the History class, I want to hop on my End Time horse again. I discovered something very fascinating this week. Is it important? I don’t know yet. Is it coincidence? That you can decide for yourself but for me, nothing about Israel and anything that happen with or through that nation, is coincidental.

As you can see on the above image, I went to CHATGPT and asked if we take the date when Hamas attacked Israel on October 7th, 2023, and we add 666 days, on what date do we land? And the answer was August 4th or the 10th of AV, the exact day when the 2 Temples were destroyed in Jerusalem as mentioned above.

The Romans set the Temple aflame on the afternoon of Av 9 and it continued to burn through Av 10. For this reason, some of the mourning practices of the “Nine Days” are observed through the morning hours of Av 10.  Are the 666 days count here just a coincidence? Who knows…

BARUCH HABA B’SHEM YAHUAH!” (Blessed is He who comes in the Name of Yahuah!)

בָרֶכְךָ יְהוָה וְיִשְׁמְרֶךָ
Ya·varech·echa Adonai ve·yish·merecha
May YAHUAH bless you and protect you

יָאֵר יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ וִיחֻנֶּךָּ
Ya·er Adonai panav e·lecha vi·chu·neka
May YAHUAH make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you.

יִשָּׂא יְהוָה פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ וְיָשֵׂם לְךָ שָׁלוֹם
Yi·sa Adonai panav e·lecha ve·ya·sem lecha shalom
May YAHUAH turn His face toward you and give you peace.

HalleluYAH
