WHEN DOES A BIBLICAL NEW YEAR START?

With this prophetic word, starting with the Biblical New Year, I just want to clarify why we are starting the New year in this season and what does the Word of Yahweh teach us regarding His truth about His perfect timeline.

BIBLICAL CONFIRMATION OF THE BIBLICAL NEW YEAR

The next new Biblical Year will start at sunset March 29^th, 2025. The Romans start the year in January, in the dead of the winter, whereas the Orthodox Jews start the year in September – October according to the man-made rules of the Rabbis. But when does the Bible say is the beginning of the year?

Exo 12:2 “This month (Aviv) shall be the chief of months for you. It shall be the first of the months of the year for you.”

Very clearly the year begins when it is spring in Israel and when the Passover is celebrated. The first month of the biblical calendar is called Aviv. Now we know from Deuteronomy 16:9 that we must start our Shavuot count (feast of weeks – Omer Count) “when the sickle hits the standing grain;” or in other words when the barley is ripe. Notice it never states that barley is the parameter for the 1^st day and beginning of the year, ONLY that it is the agricultural parameter for the beginning of the count to Shavuot. This point alone proves barley is not the parameter to start the year, but simply an earthy agricultural witness that the year has already begun.

THE SIGN OF THE VERNAL EQUINOX

There is another important part of Scripture that the current modern Jewish calendar does not also consider to the actual start of the year; this is the biblical precedent of waiting until after both the vernal equinox and the precession of the equinox, when the sun both passes the equator to start spring, and also passes from the 12^th constellation back to the first one, to finish its full yearly cycle.

Scripture clearly tells us that we are to equate time by the celestial bodies in the sky.

Gen 1:14 “And Elohim said, Let luminaries be in the expanse of the heavens, to divide between the day and the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years.”

Psalm 104:19 “He made the moon for seasons (mo’edim); the sun knows it’s going down.”

So, we see that the calendar is a solar/lunar calendar made up of the Sun to rule the day; when it is sunset we start our new day, the moon to rule the month; when it finishes its full rotation and restarts itself at conjunction the new month begins, and a combination of the Sun and stars to rule the year.

Exo 34:22 “And you shall observe a Feast of Weeks for yourself, the first fruits of the harvest of wheat; also the Feast of Ingathering (after) the TURN OF THE YEAR” (Tekufah).

BIBLICAL YEAR 5995

Now that we know when the Bible tells us to start our Biblical New year, the next thing we must understand of Yahweh’s timeline is in what Biblical year are we really in. In Genesis 6:3 Yahweh said to Noah: “My Spirit shall not always strive with mankind; in their going astray he is flesh. And his days shall be a hundred and twenty years (times).” The Hebrew word for years can also mean “times” and in this verse it’s referring to 120 jubilees or 120 x 50 = 6,000 years allotted to man until Yahweh would bring His Kingdom (2Pet 3:8).

In Daniel 7:25 we read that Satan intends to change times and law and he succeeded by changing the Biblical Year count through a Rabbi and his man-made rules by 210 years, saying that we are now in the Biblical year 5785, which started during “Rosh Hassanah” in October 2024. Firstly the Gregorian Calendar month, October, is not the head of the year as we learned in the previous Bible verse of Exodus 12:2. Secondly, we cannot be in the year 5785, because that mean that Yahshua will only be returning over 210 years!

RESEARCH: Ascend in the Hebrew Strongs is Nr. 5944 with the word “aliYAH” which means: going up / stairway / to rise to YAH.

Just for interesting sake I looked at the Hebrew Strongs Nr. 5995 and it is the word: “AMIYR” which means: bunch of grain / handful sheaf. AMIYR is the root word from AMAR Nr. 6014 / to heap / to gather / from Omer nr.6016

Conclusion: To gather and ascend to the Bridegroom

IS THERE A MESSAGE IN THE NUMBERS OF THE YEAR 5995?

5995: 5 x 2 – Double grace & 9 x 2 – Double almost compete

NUMBER 5000 – This number has the meaning of “Maturity in Grace” which refers to a mature understanding of the grace of Yahweh.

NUMBER 900 – The numeric association can be calculated by multiplying twenty-nine (almost complete, harvest, to judge) with one hundred (abundant return) which speaks of an abundant return of the harvest is almost ready.

NUMBER 90 – This number can be calculated by multiplying nine (almost complete, harvest, to judge) and ten (fulfillment) which points to the completion of the period of testing and that the fruit or our labor is showing.

NUMBER 9: The number 10 means to be complete, finished or fulfilled. Nine is one number short of this fulfilment, showing that it is almost complete, or it is the conclusion of a matter. This can mean that the harvest is almost ready, or it is almost time to do that which Yahweh called us for. Patience can be a symbolic association to this number.

PROMISE: Nine shows that the time of fullness and harvesting has appeared. (Luke 17:17 & 2:38, Matt 27:45) Fruitfulness (pregnancy is over), worship and praise (Luke 2:38)

SYMBOLIC: Nine is also the number of months a woman carries a child. It therefore refers to the period of preparation before an issue, business or ministry is “birthed” (Rom 8:9, John 16:21)

ISRAEL TRIBE: 9 is also the number of the Tribe “ASHER” which means “happy” or “blessed”. The symbol of this tribe is the Olive Tree.

NUMBER 5: The number 5 is often associated with grace, divine favor, and Yahweh’s merciful provision. This number appears in various contexts like the five books of the Torah, the five wounds of Yahshua and the five offerings in the Old Testament (Lev 1-7), the 5 wise and 5 unwise virgins (Matt 25), the miracle of the 5 loaves, and David’s 5 smooth stones are just a few examples.

ISRAEL TRIBE 5: Zebulun The name Zebulun means “dwelling” or “habitation”. Strong Hebrew Dictionary nr. 2074 & 2082 / to enclose, to dwell with.

5995 SCRIPTURES:

While I was waiting for the Prophetic Word for the Biblical New Year 5995, Father Yahweh and Yahshua pointed to these two Scripture numerous of times:

“Baruch Haba B’shem Yahweh” – Blessed is He who comes in the name of Yahweh. (Matt 23:39)

When I was in Israel April 2024, I came back with a song on my phone as ringtone from Paul Wilbur ringing the chorus of this song: “Baruch Haba B’shem Adonai” – not knowing at that time what the Hebrew words meant but it had a nice ring to my ears, and it fell into my heart.

When Yahshua showed me Matthew 23:39 I realized that He said there: “And I say to you, ‘In no way SHALL YOU SEE ME from now on, UNTIL YOU SAY, “Blessed is HE who comes in the name of Yahweh.” In other words, He Himself said, nobody will see Him again BEFORE we SAY “Blessed is HE who comes in the name of Yahweh.” One day while I was listening to a teaching of Amir Tsarfati and in his teaching, he mentioned the Scripture of Matthew 23:39 and he said the Hebrew words: ‘BARUCH HABA B’SHEM YAHWEH’ and I was so awe-struct that I couldn’t believe I had those words on my phone for nearly a year and never realized its part of the Prophetic word for this new Biblical year!

“HaRauch v’Hakala Omrim Bo” – The Spirit and the Bride say Come (Rev 22:17)

The week before I went to Israel on April 17^th 2024, I went to a concert of Josh Aaron in Bellville. It was packed and such an anointed evening. He sang the song “The Spirit and the Bride” while someone played the harp and it truly felt if I’m standing on the Mount of Olives, calling my Bridegroom – BO, BO…naBO! So already in April 2024 before I went to Israel, while I was there and right after I came back, I already received the next Israel commission – ASCEND!

THE STAGE IS SET

One morning in the vineyards while I was talking to Father Yahweh and Yahshua, they showed me a stage. Nobody was preparing the stage and Yahweh said: ‘The stage is set’.

Now the Midnight Shouters (Matt 25:6) need to make their Roaring Awakening Noise of Fire like never before. We are standing in the doorstep of a new dispensation. An era of more than 2000 years is closing and the final backdrop is hanging for a triumphant, victorious and big final scene. Those who have ears must listen, time is not running out, the sandglass is already empty.

PROPHETIC VISION: The bride was standing in front of her Bridegroom. They gazed into each other’s eyes and He opened His hand. In His hand was a wedding ring with a green emerald and inside the ring was engraved “Baruch Haba B’shem Yahweh”. The bride lovingly bended over to kiss the Bridegroom’s open hand and as she kissed Him, she swallowed the ring. The ring grew inside of her and as the ring got bigger, she became the ring. She melted away and all that’s been left of her, was the ring. The Bridegroom then took the ring and put it on His finger and wave it in the air to show all the nations and they all proclaim together: “Baruch Haba B’shem Yahweh!”

“In that day, says YAHWEH of Hosts, I will take you, O Zerubbabel, My servant, the son of Shealtiel, says YAHWEH, and will make you like a SIGNET; for I HAVE CHOSEN YOU, declares YAHWEH of Hosts.” (Haggai2:23)

A signet ring was one that sealed documents and covenants, and this verse is showing Yahweh’s lasting promise to one day bringing back a King to Israel and on His finger will be a ring to confirm His covenant.

Why did Yahweh used the names Zerubbabel and Shealtiel in this verse of the signet ring?

A BRIDGE TO THE MESSIANIC LINE: – ZERUBBABEL in theStrong’s Hebrew Dictionary is Nr.2216 which means Descended of / from Babylon. Zerubbabel was Shealtiel’s son and we don’t know much about Shealtiel except that he passed his bloodline to the next generation.

THE SIGNIFICANCE OF SHEALTIEL: – Though Shealtiel may be considered a minor character outnumbered by heavier biblical figures, his importance should not be underplayed. Positioned in a pivotal period of the Babylonian exile, he performs the critical function of being a bridge, transmitting the royal bloodline from King David, through troubled times, to Yahshua. In doing so, Shealtiel, the oft-overlooked character, confirms the dynamic interplay of genealogy, prophecy, and divine intervention in biblical narratives.

ZERUBBABEL / SHEALTIEL PROPHETIC CONCLUSTION: Although we also come out Babylon’s captivity with our outnumbered characters comparing to the 12 tribes of Israel, we play a very significant role by being a bridge to the next dispensation as bride, ushering in her Bridegroom. The world does not see us as special, purified and precious, but we are a chosen generation, being groomed to operate prophetically by the hand of YAH. In Haggai 2:23 we read that Yahweh “chose” Zerubbabel, His servant and that He will make Yahshua’s bride like a signet ring, just like He choose us and grafted us into the OILVE TREE to be part of this prophetic bridge of His Master- End Time Plan.

PROPHETIC PROCLAMATION: Yahshua said in Matthew 23:39 that in no way shall we see Him until we SAY: “Baruch Haba B’shem Yahweh!” – meaning: Blessed is HE who comes in the name of Yahweh. This proclamation must be on the lips of everyone, including the 12 tribes of Israel. But knowing that the tribes went into diaspora, and we are grafted into the OLIVE TREE (Rom 11:17) we can do this prophetic proclamation in the gap of all the tribes and other believers and nations. “For I say to you, ‘In NO WAY SHALL YOU SEE ME FROM NOW ON, until you SAY:” Blessed is He who comes in the name of Yahweh.” (Matt 23:39) Just as the signet ring in Haggai 2:23 we are chosen for a time like this to proclaim this prophetically as we ushering in the Bridegroom, our King of Kings, our Beloved Yahshua our Messiah, to be a bridge and by stepping into our role as the signet ring on Yahshua’s finger.

If we are calling in the Bridegroom, proclaiming these Prophetically, then we are preparing the way for Him. Just think if these words of Yahshua in Matthew 23 were pointing to us; the shouters, the watchman, the remnant, the set apart, the 5 wise virgins of this generation, doing this prophetic proclamation in the gap of all the tribes and nations? If that is the case, He must keep His promise to appear once again for us to see Him on the clouds and then we will meet Him in the air and ASCEND to Him forever!

“Who shall ASCEND into the hill of Yahweh? And who shall stand in His holy place? He who has clean hands and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul to falsehood and has not sworn deceit.” (Psalm 24:3-4)
