FAST DAY 1

On this “rat-race” road where everything needs to happen faster with the click of a button, we need to slow down and make time to prepare ourselves. With this fast we want to reevaluate our relationship status with Yahweh. If we want to be part of the bride, we need to get ready and prepare ourselves for the coming feasts that will be fulfilled by Yahshua Himself.

The next feast is the FEAST OF TRUMPETS, and this feast is a shadow of the rapture. Let’s be wise, prepared and ready for this event and encourage each other also to eagerly await the appearance of our Bridegroom in the sky.

Psalm 23 came up a few times the past week and it tells me about a promise far beyond our rat-race life.

“YAHWEH is my Shepherd; I shall not lack. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me to waters of rest; He RESTORES my soul; He GUIDES me in paths of righteousness for His Name’s sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will FEAR NO EVIL; for You are with me; Your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table for me before ones vexing me; You ANOINT MY HEAD WITH OIL; MY CUP RUNS OVER. Surely, goodness and MERCY, shall follow me all the days of my life; and I shall dwell in the house of YAHWEH for days without end.”

This is probably David’s most beautiful Psalm showing his total trust and appeasement with YAHWEH as his Shepherd. David is also showing in this Psalm that no matter what else is around him, that his trust and security in YHWH is all that he needs for contentment. May this also be your desire in the following 29 days.
