ISRAEL 78’th INDEPENDENCE DAY 2026
Israel at 78: A Prophetic Warning, Not a Celebration On 22 April 2026, the nation of Israel celebrates its 78th year of independence. For many, this is a day of joy, celebration, dancing, and national pride. But this is not a joyful reflection. This is a warning. Scripture makes it clear that judgment comes when the measure is full. What we are witnessing is not merely a nation celebrating independence, but a people moving toward a prophetic moment that has already been written. The Significance of 78 The number 78 carries a weight that cannot be ignored. It is associated with wickedness and with the Hebrew concept of “to salt”—to be mixed, altered, brought into full compliance. In this sense, it reflects a state of being fully immersed, fully aligned, whether for good or for corruption. It also carries the warning of falsehood and deception—of accusations and fabricated narratives, as seen in 1 Kings 21:13 and echoed in 2 Thessalonians 2:3. Linked to this is the concept of Belial (Deuteronomy 13:13; Job 16:11), representing lawlessness, worthlessness, and rebellion. These are not light matters. They are markers of a condition that Scripture consistently shows leads to judgment. Aliyah and the Gathering At the same time, we are witnessing a great return—Aliyah—from the nations back into Israel. People from Russia, Europe, and many other regions are gathering into the land. On the surface, this appears prophetic—and indeed, it aligns with Scripture regarding the regathering. But Scripture also shows that regathering does not cancel judgment. In many cases, it precedes it. Zechariah 13:8–9 – Judgment and Refinement “And it shall come to pass in all the land… two-thirds shall be cut off and die, but one-third shall be left in it. I will bring the one-third through the fire…” This is one of the most sobering prophecies concerning the land. The fire is not destruction alone—it is purification. It is a return to covenant. It is where a people cry out, and YAHUAH answers: “They are My people.” This shows that judgment is not the end—it is the process through which restoration comes. But it is a severe process. The Reality on the Ground Israel today is not a simple or uniform society. It is filled with different beliefs, lifestyles, and practices. There are those who seek righteousness—but there are also many who live in ways that do not align with the commandments of Scripture. Like every nation on earth, it reflects a mixture. And Scripture is clear: judgment begins where accountability is greatest. A Glimpse of What Has Already Begun The events of 7 October 2023 shocked the world. Lives were lost in a brutal and violent way. It revealed how quickly things can shift—how fragile peace truly is. Moments like this serve as reminders: we are not dealing with ordinary times. The world is entering a period where what has been spoken will unfold. Jerusalem – The Center of the Battle There is a spiritual and physical tension over Jerusalem, especially the Temple Mount. Control, access, and authority over that space remain deeply contested. The question of a future temple continues to be discussed and anticipated by various groups. Whether near or far, it remains a central point in prophetic expectation. Scripture points to a time of great deception, conflict, and ultimately, divine intervention. The Final Outcome The story does not end in destruction alone. Scripture declares that there will come a moment when: What is hidden will no longer be hidden. A Call to Awareness This is not a time for blind celebration. It is not a time to elevate any nation beyond what Scripture reveals. It is a time to: Prophecy will not be stopped. It will not be altered. It will unfold according to the will of YAHUAH. The question is not whether these things will happen. The question is whether we are prepared, awake, and standing in truth when they do. Let this not stir fear, but alignment. For YAHUAH is not uncertain, and His Word is not failing. What has been spoken will come to pass in its appointed time, and no man can overturn what He has established. Therefore, the call is not to resist His plan, nor to pray against what He has already declared, but to come into agreement with His will. To trust Him in the unfolding. To stand in reverence, knowing that even in judgment, His purpose is refinement, restoration, and truth. Blessed is the one who does not strive against His hand, but who discerns the hour and walks in obedience, anchored in trust, as all things are brought to completion according to His will. Shalom beloved,
