OMER COUNT DAY 3

Counting the Omer – Day 3

Jeremiah 5 | A Heart That Seeks Truth

Today, as we step into Day 3 of the Omer journey, we move into Book of Jeremiah chapter 5 and it carries a very sobering, yet necessary word for the Remnant in this hour. If Day 2 was about returning and allowing the Father to begin breaking up the hardened places, then Day 3 confronts us with something deeper: a call to walk in truth with integrity, not just in appearance, but in the inner man.

Jeremiah 5 opens with a striking picture. The Father searches the streets, looking for just one person who executes justice and seeks truth and He says He would pardon the land for the sake of that one. Just one. That alone should make us pause. It reveals how precious truth and righteousness are to Him and how rare they had become among His people.

As I sat with this, I realize, it connects so powerfully with the journey we have already walked. During the 40 days leading up to Pesach, we allowed the Father to purge our hearts, to expose, to cleanse and to strip away what could not go forward with us. But now, in the Omer, He is not just asking, “Are you clean?”—He is asking, “Are you true?”

It is possible to go through a season of cleansing, to lay things down and yet still carry a divided heart. A heart that says the right things but is not fully anchored in truth, and this is exactly what Jeremiah 5 addresses. The people spoke of the Father, they even swore by His Name, but their hearts were not aligned. There was a form of devotion, but no depth of covenant, and this is where the Word becomes very personal for us as the Restored Remnant.

We are not being called to outward appearance and we are not being called to say the right language or to look set-apart on the outside. The Father is looking for those who seek truth inwardly, who walk with Him in sincerity, who choose righteousness even when no one is watching. He is searching again, not through ancient streets, but through hearts today…looking for those who will stand fully aligned with Him.

There is also something else that stands out in this chapter. The people had been corrected, even disciplined, yet they refused to receive instruction. Their hearts had become hard, unresponsive, and this is such a crucial warning for us in this season, because we have just come through a deep purging with many tears, many breakthroughs and many moments of surrender. But if we are not careful, we can slowly drift into dullness again, into a place where we stop responding quickly to His voice.

Jeremiah describes it as a people who have “made their faces harder than rock.” That is not something that happens overnight—it is the result of repeatedly resisting conviction.

So today, the invitation is very clear, and very loving: Stay soft. Stay responsive. Stay teachable.

The Father is not looking for perfection, He is looking for a heart that trembles at His Word, a heart that is quick to turn, quick to listen, quick to align. This is what sets the Remnant apart in this hour.

As we continue through the chapter, we also see the consequences of a people who reject truth. There is confusion, instability and ultimately separation from protection, and again, this is not spoken to bring fear, but to awaken understanding. Truth is not optional in the Kingdom….it is the very foundation that holds everything together.

Right now, in the world around us, there are many voices, many narratives, many versions of “truth”, but the Remnant is being called to something higher…to be anchored in the unchanging truth of the Father, regardless of what is shifting around us. This requires discernment and intimacy and it requires a willingness to stand alone if necessary.

This is where Day 3 of the Omer becomes so significant.

We are moving from:
➡️ Cleansing of the heart (Day 2)
➡️ Into alignment with truth (Day 3)

A purified heart must now become a truth-filled heart.

So today, take a moment not just to reflect on what has been removed, but on what is being established within you. Ask yourself gently: “Am I walking in full truth before the Father? Are there areas where I am saying the right things, but not fully living them?” Don’t allow condemnation to enter—this is an invitation, not an accusation. The Father is drawing us into deeper authenticity, deeper integrity, deeper covenant.

You are being formed into someone He can trust with truth.

🌿 Prayer for Today
Abba Yahuah, thank You for bringing me through a season of purging and cleansing. Thank You that You did not leave me where I was but called me higher.

Today, I ask that You establish truth deep within me. Remove every trace of pretense, every divided motive, every place where I am not fully aligned with You.

Keep my heart soft and responsive to Your voice. Teach me to walk in integrity, in sincerity, and in reverence before You. Let me be found as those who seek truth and live it fully. I desire to be part of the Remnant that You can trust in this hour. In Your set-apart Name of Yahushua, HalleluYAH!

Remember, beloved, this journey is not about perfection—it’s about faithful alignment. Every step you have taken through the 40 days of purging, through Pesach, and now into the Omer, has been preparing you for this moment of truth.

Do not be discouraged by what remains to be refined or by the weight of conviction; rather, take heart, because Abba is at work in you, shaping you, strengthening you, and building a heart that trembles at His Word.

You are not walking alone—He is with you, and every surrender, every softening of your heart, is a seed planted for a harvest of holiness, discernment, and covenant intimacy. Keep leaning in, stay teachable, and rejoice, for He is faithful to complete the good work He has begun in you.

Shalom beloved,
