Day 24 (Elul 24) – Walk like HE walked

MODEH ANI – MORNING PRAYER

Abba YAHUAH, as the darkness of the night fades away and the stars grow dimmer, You invite me into a new day to walk in Your footsteps once again. Thank You for awakening me with loving kindness and tender grace, guiding me and standing face to face. I honor You for Your faithfulness, Father, and for never giving up on me. Even if I stray a little from time to time, You bring me back to Your ways and teach me to walk as You walk and to imitate You and to be reflect by YOUR image. You are on Your throne Abba YAHUAH, busy with very deep work. What a privilege to be on this journey with You in my field, and to have You show me how I must Teshuvah back to You. Please guide me today, step by step, to walk like You walk.
In YAHUSHUA’s name — HalleluYAH!

REFLECTION: Don’t be a Walkie-Talkie

Most of the time, we like things our way and prefer to do things according to our own perspective. We would rather follow the crowds, the latest trends, the newest fashions, TikTok or a Facebook short video, or CNN news, than spend time in the Word of Eloah to discover our calling and what is written on our heavenly scrolls. We love to talk the talk, share pictures and teachings, but when it comes to going to the next level of walking the walk, we suddenly find so many excuses not to walk in the fullness of YAHUAH’s Word.

If we give our hearts to YAHUSHUA, Who is our Redeemer and Saviour, then we are grafted into the Olive Tree (Romans 11:17–24), making us part of the Olive Tree, whose roots now support us. (The Olive Tree represents YAHUSHUA and the Fig Tree represents Israel)

17 “But if some of the branches were broken off, and you [Gentiles], being like a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among them to share with them the rich root of the olive tree,
18 do not boast over the [broken] branches and exalt yourself at their expense. If you do boast and feel superior,
remember that it is not you who supports the root, but the root that supports you.

We do not have our own roots, because a branch cannot survive on its own without being grafted into a living tree. With this picture in mind, we cannot operate from our own perspective of any Biblical truths, because the Olive Tree’s roots are now our roots. Whatever the Olive Tree experiences, we are part of it. As the Olive Tree is, so are we. If we are grafted into the Olive Tree, then we are ONE (Echad H259) with it.

If YAHUSHUA is our Master, our High Priest, and our Holy Rabbi, then we are His students. We made a clear decision to choose Him as our Saviour on the day we were saved. This means that we submit everything under Him as our High Priest, Master, and Holy Rabbi. If this is the case, He will teach us and be our main example, because He was flesh and walked on earth, doing as Father YAHUAH instructed Him. Likewise, we must follow in His footsteps, doing what our Master did and applying what He teaches us, so that we can walk as He walked.

TESHUVAH Return: Your walk must be HIS Walk

For so long, we tried to survive on our own—doing things our way, struggling from day to day—without realizing that our hearts are meant to follow the footsteps of our KING in the field. If He observed the Shabbats, YAHUAH’s Feasts and obey His Commandments and walking out the Torah, then that is exactly what we must do too.

1 Corinthians 11:1Be imitators of me, just as I also am of Messiah.”

Pause for a moment and imagine YAHUSHUA walking in the flesh: the way He moved through the towns and fields, the way His eyes noticed the simple and the profound, the way He treasured each encounter and every act of obedience. Reflect on how He carried Himself, how He spoke, how He reached out to those around Him, and how He honored the Father in every step and obeying His Commandments.

Ephesians 5:1–2 “Therefore be imitators of Elohim, as beloved children, and walk in love, just as Messiah also loved us and gave Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to Elohim for a sweet-smelling aroma.”

BERACHAH Blessing:

If we are firmly rooted in the Olive Tree, and its life-giving roots uphold us, then we will partake of the blessings flowing from it. We will flourish in abundance, nourished by the original roots planted for us from the very beginning. In every part of our lives, we will mirror the beauty, strength, and life of the Olive Tree, walking in its image and sharing in its fruitfulness.

Thessalonians 1:6 “And you became imitators of us and of the Master, having received the word in much affliction, with the joy of the Set-Apart Spirit.”

SCRIPTURE: 1 JOHN 2:4-6

The one saying, I have known Him, and not keeping His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in that one. But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of YAHWEH has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. The one claiming to rest in Him, ought to walk, himself, even as He walked.

This scripture is clear proof that anyone saying that he is a disciple of Yahushua and not being obedient to the Torah and the commandments is nothing but a liar.

The Aramaic word used here for walk is “halach” which literally means “to go” or the way one should go, in which Rabbis get the term “halacha”, which is the ‘way to go‘ that is required to perform in order to be considered a disciple.

Clearly part of that way included the Sabbath day, the Passover and feast days of Leviticus 23 and the whole Torah. The clear message is that any true disciple of Yahushua needs to do the same things that He did, which was being fully Torah observant. Doing away with the Torah and commandments is not an option for a true believer in Messiah and is a litmus test to divide between a true disciple and one in name only. (Mat 7:20-23, Isa 8:20)

Let this revelation guide your heart today. Allow His footsteps to become your path, His priorities to shape your choices, and His love to fill your actions. Walk as He walked, treasure what He treasured, and carry His heart in all that you do. Let’s return to His Ancient Path and walk the path like He did as Covenant believers in fullness of His Word and in Spirit and in Truth.

EXTRA TEACHING: Prophetic Understanding of Tishri (Part 2)

As we are entering into the next BIBLICAL MONTH (Month 7 | Tishri) in a few days, I will share the teachings and prophetic word that NataliYAH/Esther released form “The Voice Calling in the Wilderness Ministries” regarding Tishri.

MUSIC:

Teshuvah [תשובה] brings Berachah [ברכה], the blessing of our King.
