Day 11 (Elul 11) – The ONE Who fight for us

MODEH ANI – MORNING PRAYER

My heavenly Father, it is still dark outside and not even the birds have begun their song for You yet, but in this morning hour I want to begin my day by singing my song to You. A song to honor You as my El Gibbor (אֵל גִּבּוֹר | Almighty Warrior) — the One who fights for me.

You are mighty in battle, and You conquer the enemy even before I notice them. Thank You, Father, for fighting on my behalf and crushing the enemy’s work, because You know their plans beforehand and demolish them before their war cry can try to bring fear into my life.

Father, teach me today to stay focused on Your commission while I build my life through the guidance of Your Ruach HaKodesh, so that I may be ready, alert, and prepared — filled with courage, knowing that You are fighting the battle with me, and that I am on the winning side because You are El Gibbor, my Almighty Warrior.

In the Name of Yahushua, HalleluYah!

REFLECTION:

It is in our nature to protect ourselves, to take precautions, and to stand ready in defense. When we sense offense or threat, we instinctively go on guard, reaching for the weapons we think we need. Even as the enemy attacks, we raise walls around our hearts and attempt to fight with our own strength.

Yet too often, we do not fully understand the enemy’s tactics, nor do we know their agenda. Still, we rush into battle alone, relying on what we can see and grasp. True strength, however, comes from pausing, observing, and seeking guidance from Ruach HaKodesh beyond ourselves. It is in recognizing that we are not meant to fight alone that clarity arises, courage grows, and victory is assured. Above all expectations, we must always remember, our El Gibbor our Almighty Warrior is with us in every battle!

TESHUVAH Repent:

Lower your own weapons. Seek forgiveness for trying to fight your battles in your own strength. Ask Father YAHUAH to show you how He fights on your behalf.

Renounce the desire to battle in your own way. Ask Father YAHUAH to teach you His strategies, His plans, and how to operate in His power and authority — always covered by the Blood of Yahushua in the battlefield.

Though we speak through His Sword — the Word of YAHUAH — as our weapon, we must remember that all the spiritual armor and weapons belong to Him: His Shoes, His Belt, His Shield, His Breastplate, His Helmet, and His Sword. Every piece of armor is designed by Him, carrying His authority, strength, and power.

A HEART FULLY GIVEN TO YAHUAH IS A WARRIOR FULLY ARMED.

BERACHAH Blessing:

If we arm ourselves with His armor, who will fight for us? El Gibbor, our Almighty Warrior! Every battle is won through Him when He fights for us with His armor, using His power, strength, and authority. Every force of darkness will flee before El Gibbor. They tremble in fear of His power and will run away if they try to stand against our Almighty Warrior.

Our battle is not ours to fight alone, yet we are grafted into the Olive Tree and are part of the team that conquers everything that comes against Abba YAHUAH and His plans. If we stay focused on building our lives each day according to Father’s Biblical Pattern, He will also teach us to fight as we go, operating with a building block in one hand and His Sword in the other.

SCRIPTURE: El Gibbor, our Almighty Warrior

“You show lovingkindness to thousands… the Great, the Mighty Ha’El HaGibbor, whose name is YAHUAH of hosts.Jeremiah 32:18

“YAHUAH your Elohim in your midst, the Mighty One (Gibbor) will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing.Zephaniah 3:17

“For YAHUAH your Elohim is the Elohim of elohims and Master of masters, the great YAHUAH, mighty (HaGibbor) and awesome, who shows no partiality and takes no bribe.” Deuteronomy 10:17

“Who is this King of glory? YAHUAH strong and mighty, YAHUAH mighty (Gibbor) in battle.” Psalm 24:8

“YAHUAH will march out like a mighty man (Gibbor), like a warrior He will stir up His zeal; with a shout He will raise the battle cry and will triumph over His enemies.” Isaiah 42:13

✨ Together, these passages show that El Gibbor is not only the Mighty YAHUAH but also the Divine Warrior, the One who fights for His people and ensures victory.

NEHEMIAH 4

“The ones who built on the wall, and the ones who carried a load; bearing with one of his hands, a worker in the work, and one, a holder of the weapon. For each man of the builders had his sword tied by his side, and built. And he who sounded the ram’s horn was beside me.” Nehemiah 4:17-18

In Nehemiah 4, the Jews faced fierce opposition while rebuilding the walls of Jerusalem. Sanballat, Tobiah, and others mocked and ridiculed the workers, trying to instill fear and stop the work. They even plotted to attack and destroy the city.

Nehemiah, however, encouraged the people to trust in YAHUAH, their El Gibbor, the Almighty Warrior, who fights on their behalf. The builders organized themselves so that some worked on the wall while others stood ready with weapons, fully aware that El Gibbor was their protector and strength.

They prayed to YAHUAH continually and posted guards day and night, relying on His authority and power to defend them. Despite ridicule, threats, and potential attacks, the people remained diligent, united, and courageous because their battle was not theirs alone — it was the battle of El Gibbor, their Almighty Warrior.

Key: We must lower our own weapons because they have no everlasting power. Like the builders in Nehemiah’s time, we can face opposition with courage and perseverance, knowing that El Gibbor fights for us, giving us strength, protection, and victory against every enemy through His powerful armor and that we will always be covered by the Blood of Yahushua in the battlefield.
