MONTH 5: THE 5 END TIME DIVINE COMMISSIONS (part 3)
“I solemnly CHARGE you before YAHUAH and the Master YAHUSHUA Messiah, He is being about to judge the living and the dead at His appearance and His Kingdom: ” (2 Tim 4:1)
Paul begins this chapter with an urgent request to all believers in the presence of YAHUAH and YAHUSHUA. The words “Solemnly charge” implies a deep sense of duty, responsibility, and accountability. It’s not just a casual instruction: It’s a Divine Commission because the appearance of the coming King is at hand and all living and dead will be judged. Nobody can escape this judgement, but we as Restored Remnant, keeping Covenant; we have a responsibility in these final days, and we will be held accountable accordingly.
THE FIVE END TIME DIVINE COMMISSIONS
With this urgent request from Paul, in the presence of YAHUAH and YAHUSHUA, he reveals the FIVE Divine Commissions as our duty and responsibility as the End Time Generation in verse two: “(1) PREACH the Word! (2) STAND BY IT in season and out of season. (3) CONVICT, (4) WARN, (5) ENCOURAGE with all patience and teaching.“
One of the most important things as Endtime-Watchman, we must remember we cannot pray or warfare these coming events to an end. Father is on the throne, and He ordained everything to play out according to His Masterplan, His Blueprint and His perfect Will. So, then the question is, what must we do in this end time as Revelation Generation and Restored Remnant and Covenant Keepers in this final minutes?
In PART 1 we looked at the first two of these DIVINE COMMISSIONS and if you missed that one, here is the link to catch up: https://mattaniahministries.co.za/2025/08/08/month-5-the-5-end-time-divine-commissions-part-1/
In Part 2 we looked at Nr.3 of these FIVE END TIME DIVINE COMMISSIONS: CONVICT http://mattaniahministries.co.za/2025/08/12/month-5-the-end-time-divine-commissions-part-2/

Today we are going to look at:
END TIME DIVINE COMMISSION NR.4 – WARN
The Watchman’s Call
In the book of Ezekiel, YAHUAH tells the prophet:
“Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the house of Israel. When you hear a word from My mouth, you must warn them for Me.” (Ezekiel 33:7)
A watchman in ancient times stood on the walls of a city. His eyes were always scanning the horizon. If he saw danger coming, his job was to blow the trumpet and sound the alarm. The lives of the people inside the walls depended on him doing his job faithfully.

YAHUAH used that image for Ezekiel’s calling. It wasn’t about looking for armies—it was about looking out for souls. Ezekiel was commanded to speak when YAHUAH spoke, to warn people when their path would lead to destruction. And here’s the serious part: if Ezekiel warned them and they refused to listen, their blood was on their own hands. But if he stayed silent, Father YAHUAH said their blood would be on his hands.
In other words, silence in the face of sin wasn’t neutral—it was deadly.
Now, that may sound heavy but think about it this way: warning someone is actually an act of love. Imagine a doctor who sees cancer on a scan but doesn’t tell the patient because he doesn’t want to upset them. That’s not kindness—that’s cruelty. The loving thing is to speak the truth, even if it’s uncomfortable.
The same is true for us. YAHUAH places each of us in positions where we see things others might not. Parents see dangers their children can’t. Friends sometimes see blind spots in each other’s lives. Believers see the seriousness of eternity when others don’t. And YAHUAH whispers to us: “I’ve made you a watchman. Don’t stay silent. Warn them.”
But here’s the balance: warning isn’t about yelling or condemning. Paul told Timothy to “rebuke, reprove, and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction” (2 Timothy 4:2). That means we warn gently, with love, with tears if needed, but always with truth.

YAHUSHUA Himself was the perfect example. He warned people about sin and judgment, but He always opened the door to forgiveness and hope. His warnings were never to crush, but to rescue.
So, maybe ask yourself today: Who has YAHUAH placed on my wall? Who is He calling me to lovingly warn, not because I’m better than them, but because I care about them?
Being a watchman isn’t about fear—it’s about love. It’s about caring enough to say the hard thing, even when it’s easier to stay quiet.
🔑 Key Point:
YAHUAH charges Ezekiel as the “watchman” (Hebrew: צָפָה – tsaphah, to look out, keep watch) with the duty to warn (Hebrew: הִזְהִיר – hizhir, to give warning). If the prophet warns and people refuse to listen, their guilt remains their own. But if the watchman fails to warn, he is held accountable for their blood.

Conclusion
Beloved, the call of the watchman is serious.
- See clearly – be awake in prayer and the Word.
- Speak faithfully – don’t let fear silence you.
- Shine brightly – warning is not doom; it’s light in darkness.
Ezekiel 33:9 – “If you warn the wicked … you have delivered your soul.”
Let us be found faithful watchmen on the walls of our families, our churches, and our nation and make this urgent request or Paul in 2 Timothy 4:2 part of our mission in these last final minute before the Tribulation begins.
Let’s pray:
“Father, open my eyes to see what You see. Give me courage not to stay silent when You’ve called me to speak. Help me to warn with love, with patience, and with truth—just like YAHUSHUA did. HALLELUYAH.”
AND THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY COME!
Shalom,
