OMER COUNT DAY 25

As we came out of the First Biblical Month during Pesach and also celebrated the feasts of First Fruits and Unleavened Bread, we are now walking in the Second Biblical Month, the exact same month when Yahshua walked on earth for 40 days in His resurrected body when He revealed Himself to His disciples. This is the time of the great revelation of the following of our Messiah.

In this Second Biblical month the Israelites came out of bondage out of Egypt into the wilderness with the promise land just a few miles in front of them. Why did they missed the Promised Land and not entered into it sooner but took 40 years to get there? They needed to get healed from their previous lives of only knowing foreign gods and their practices. This is why this month is called the month of transition and the month of healing. We need to return to the status of focus and renewal, moving from celebrating Pesach and First Fruits to receive the Torah at Shavuot, our “Promise Land”. So, there was a transition from bondage to freedom, from sick in the Spirit to healing and from the pagan worshipping to Mount Sinai to get the Torah.

During the counting of the Omer and in the Second Biblical Month, we need to focus on Father because He wants to do a new thing. It is the month of VISITATION. Yahweh revealed Himself in this month just like Yahshua revealed Himself in the 40 days when He walked in His resurrected body on earth. It is the time of “marriage” for two to become ONE and to be healed Spiritually and in the flesh. We need to get rid of the old things of the past and shake off all the things that is not of Yahweh. We are on a journey of ascension with Him just like the Israelites ascended from Egypt to Mount Sinai, Father wants us to ascend with Him to write His commandments on the tablets of our hearts.

This is also a month of testing. To go through testing is Father’s way to reveal what is in our hearts. Without the testing we will not be able to see what Father wants to reveal. Sinai was the place where Father revealed Himself. It’s a month of introspection because we need to walk the talk.

“And by this we know that we have known Him, if we keep His commandments. The one saying, I have known Him and not keeping His commandments is a liar, and the truth is not in that one. But whoever keeps His Word, truly in this one the love of Yahweh has been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him. The one claiming to rest in Him, ought to walk, himself, even as He walked. (1 John 2:3-6)

This Scripture is clear proof that anyone saying that he is a disciple of Yahshua and not being obedient to the Torah and the commandments is nothing but a liar. The Aramaic word used here for walk is “halach” which literally means “to go” or the way one should go, in which Rabbis get the term “halacha”, which is the way to go that is required to perform in order to be considered a disciple.

Clearly part of that way included the Sabbath day, the Passover and feast days of Leviticus 23 and the whole Torah, is the way Father intended us to walk in. The clear message here is that any true disciple of Yahshua needs to do the same things that Yahshua did, which was being fully Torah observant.

Doing away with the Torah and commandments is not an option for a true believer in Messiah and is a litmus test to divide between a true disciple and one in name only. (Matt 7:20-23 & Isaiah 8:20)

Yahweh want to heal us during our walk of transition with Him in this month of testing and retrospection of ourselves. Just as He wanted to heal the Israelites transitioned out of Egypt to the wilderness of sin then to Mount Sinai, He wants to heal us from all our pagan gods and pagan feasts, and pagan believes from the past. He wants to write His commandments on our hearts so that we may walk in it on His perspective. In order for us to know what is good in His eyes, we need to know His Word and observe His commandments and walk in it, and in nothing else.

Also, in this month on the 15th day, the Israelites began to complain and grumbled (Exo 16). They walked in ingratitude and said Moses must have rather left them in Egypt where they had food and water. We must guard of what we are speaking in this month and renew the fact in our minds that Yahweh is our Provider in all circumstances. Yahweh gave the Israelites manna from heaven while they were in the wilderness of sin. He provided for them in a time of need. Even in the wilderness of sin, Yahweh provided for them.

Every day we need to gather the spiritual manna Yahweh give us and He will also provide us the hidden manna of this season in all our needs, we just need to stop grumbling and complain about everything and walk in His Torah and commandments.

In Exodus 17 we read that the Israelites complained again and fighting their leaders about not having water and Yahweh said to Moses to strike the rock and told Him that He will be standing before him, revealing Who the Rock (Exo 17:6) is which is a shadow of Yahshua our Rock. In this month Father will raise up leaders that is part of His set apart ones, walking in His laws and observing His commandments.

Later in the chapter we read that Moses and Yahoshua went into battle with Amalek and won.

And Yahoshua defeated Amalek and his people y the mouth of the sword. And Yahweh said to Moses, Write this, a memorial in a book, and set it in the ears of Yahoshua, that I will utterly wipe away the remembrance of Amalek under the heavens, And Moses built an altar. And he called its name YAHWEH NISSI. And he said, A hand is on the throne of YAH; war is to Yahweh with Amalek from generations to generation.” (Exo 17:13-16)

NISSI, in Hebrew means “My Banner“, which indicates Yahweh representing them. After the split of Israel into Judah and Ephraim, the thought in Scripture of a banner is most times associated with the return of the Messiah to unite Israel again as each tribe had their own banner.

In this month we must again proclaim that Yahweh is our Banner and the He will push back the enemy and win the battle for us while we are walking in obedience.

In the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, IN THE SECOND MONTH, in the SEVENTEENTH DAY of the month, in this day all the fountains of the great deep were risen, and the windows of the heavens were opened up. And the rain was on the earth 40 days and 40 nights.” (Gen 7:11-12)

In this same month when Noah was locked into the Ark by Yahweh Himself, and judgement came over the earth for 40 days, in the same month at the same time Yahshua walked on earth in His resurrected body, and become the Overcomer of death.

Forty is the number of trial but also of overcoming. In this first Judgement of Yahweh, the judgement in the form of water came on the earth for 40 days and 40 nights. Yahshua is our Living Water and He came to earth in flesh to be crucified and after His resurrection, walked on the earth for 40 days. He overcame death and replaced the judgement of death that must have come upon us and took it upon Him. Just as Noah and his family were safe in the Ark for 40 days while judgement was flooding the earth, Yahshua also will keep us safe in Him as our Ark because if we are walking IN HIS NAME and stay in Yahweh’s commandments, we are safe. Yahshua overcame death and showed it during the 40 days He walked in His resurrected body as our OVERCOMER.

AND THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY COME!

Shalom,
