OMER COUNT DAY 17

CHODESH TOV

Today marks the beginning of the Biblical Month TWO! The Hebrew phrase for “happy new month” is “Chodesh Tov” (חודש טוב)It literally translates to “good month” and is used to greet someone at the start of a new lunar month, a celebration called Rosh Chodesh.

Rosh Chodesh or Rosh Hodesh (ראש חודש‎; trans. / Beginning of the Month; lit. Head of the Month is a minor holiday observed at the beginning of every month in the Biblical calendar, marked by the birth of a new moon.

THE NAME ABOVE ALL NAMES

“So My people shall know My name thus in that day; for I am He speaking. Behold Me!” (Isaiah 52:6)

It is so sad that in the body of Messiah we worship Him with titles or refer to Him as ba’al. Does it matter what we call the Creator of the Universe? Many people say that if they say ‘god, lord or Jesus’ that Yahweh will know to whom they are referring to and that they do not need to use the set apart name, Yahweh or Yahshua.

SHAV

“You shall not take the name of Yahweh your Elohim in vain; for Yahweh will not leave unpunished the one who takes His name in vain.(Exo 20:7)

The third commandment strictly forbids taking the name (of) Yahweh in vain. The Hebrew word “in vain” is “SHAV” and it literally means to ‘change, falsify, or make common’. Taking the Name Yahweh and Yahshua and changing it to ‘Lord, god or Jesus’, the name of the Babylonian deity, is definitely going against the clear instruction of the third commandment.

GWAD

“But you are those who forsake Yahweh, who forget My holy mountain; who array a table for Gawd, and who filled MIXED WINE for Meni.” (Isaiah 65:11)

Gwad, or ‘god’ is the name of the Babylonian deity of FORTUNE and Meni is the name of the deity of FATE. In the above verse Yahweh is rebuking the people for exchanging His exulted name YAHWEH with the name of the false deity “god / gwad”. Most are doing this today breaking the third commandment.

I AM THAT I AM

Before I started to use the correct names, one morning around 3AM I woke up and heard the verse Exodus 3:15. Not knowing what was written in that verse, I took my Hebraic Root Bible and went to that chapter. It was where Moses went to the Israelites and to Pharaoh to tell them Who sent him to them. And this was how our Creator explained how Moses must introduce Him to them.

And Elohim said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, YAHWEH, the Elohe of your fathers, Isaac, and the Elohe of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name FOREVER, and this is how I should be remembered form generation to generation.(Exo 3:15)

The Heavenly Father reveals His name to be YHWH, pronounced as YAHWEH. This name is listed almost 7,000 times in the Tanach (Old Testament) alone and yet almost every Bible translated on earth exchanged the sacred name of Yahweh for generic titles and even pagan names such as god and lord. In the above verse He is clearly instructing us to remember His name from generation to generation.

LET EVERY DAY COUNT WHILE WE COUNT THE OMER

May we not bring His name to nothing, and may we as His People know His name in this final days and call Him by that Name. “Blessed are the ones doing His commandments, that their authority will be over the Tree of Life and that they may enter by the gates into the city.” (Rev 22:14)

AND THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE SAY COME!

Shalom,
