BEAUTY INSTEAD OF ASHES

Yahweh promises to give us beauty instead of ashes: “To appoint to those who mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity;” (Isaiah 61:3)

It is no coincidence that we observe the Omer Counting to Pentecost right after Passover. As we celebrate the resurrection of Yahshua in this time, we stand in awe at the miracle of the re-birth of the remnant, set-apart bride who are eagerly waiting for His return. A new, thriving bride was birthed out of the literal ashes of the worldly church system. Out of death came life, through Yahshua. He gave us beauty instead of ashes – He gave us LIFE instead of death.

As we are counting the Omer this year, let us never forget where we were before we invited Yahshua into our lives. Remember He chose us first. Long before you were even born, He knew that you will be alive today. Nothing is a surprise for our King. When He was hanging for our transgressions, He knew your name and He knew the reason why He needed to be sacrificed. The reason was YOU! So out of your shameful ashes, He pulled you out and made you beautiful in His image. Because that is Who He is.

If you are still feeling that you are trapped in ashes, today Yahshua is calling your name again and stretching out His arms to grab your hand and show you the beauty He planned for your life. Take the time today to talk to Him and ask Him to pull you out of the ashes because He will give you beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the mantle of praise instead of the spirit of infirmity.
