A few days ago, on Amir Tsarfati’s Telegram group, he mentioned about a letter dated January 20, 2025, that President Donald Trump received minutes after he was President of the United States, from Iran’s ousted crown prince, Reza Pahlavi, calling on President Trump to establish the “Cyrus Accords,” which would connect Israel, a free Iran, and Arab countries. This triggered me to dig into this “Cyrus” mentioned in the letter as the “Cyrus Accords” that will be the next peace agreement between Israel and the other Middle East countries in the near future. WHAT IS THE CONNECTION BETWEEN CYRUS AND TRUMP?
Today, I want to share with you a revelation that Yahweh showed me that combines two fascinating topics: King Cyrus mentioned in the Bible and a modern political figure, Donald Trump. At first glance, this connection may seem unusual, but I believe it will leave you pondering the deeper truths of Yahweh’s Word and His control over history.
The title, “CYRUS vs TRUMP” invites us to consider a few interesting facts: the word “Trump” appears in the Bible—twice! In both instances, it’s tied directly to the doctrine of the Rapture. 1 Corinthians 15:52 tells us, “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last TRUMP: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.” Similarly, 1 Thessalonians 4:16 declares, “Because the Master Himself shall descend from heaven with a commanding shout of an archangel’s voice, and with the TRUMP of Yahweh.”
Could Donald Trump Be the Key to the End of Days?
Some people are saying that the things that King Cyrus did in the past for Israel is the same things that Trump did or will be doing for Israel. Many are saying that Cyrus is a TYPE of Trump or that TRUMP is a TYPE of CYRUS. If we look at Trump, could he be the modern Cyrus?
There is a fascinating parallel between the ancient King Cyrus of Persia and Donald Trump, the modern political leader. This compares and raises the question: Could Donald Trump be the contemporary figure used by Yahweh to fulfil His prophetic purpose particularly regarding Israel?
REBUILDING OF THE TEMPLE
“He says to Cyrus, You are My shepherd; and he shall complete all My pleasures, even for Me to say to Jerusalem, You are built; and to the temple, your foundation shall be laid.” (Isaiah 44:28)
This is a most amazing prophecy written about Kind Cyrus of Persia more than 200 years before his birth, stating that he would be a servant of YHWH. Note that YHWH even gave the name of King Cyrus in this prophecy through Isaiah 200 years in advance. This is a profound example that the Bible is a book of prophecy.
The above verse states that YAHWEH would allow the rebuilding of Jerusalem after the destruction by the Babylonians exactly as Cyrus did. He was so amazed that the one true Elohim named him 200 years before his birth that he gave a royal decree to help with gold, money and even a royal escort to go back and rebuild the sanctuary of YHWH. Even though Cyrus was not a believer of YAHWEH, he played a role in the fulfilling of His prophecy in Isaiah.
As Endtime Watchman, the next thing we are waiting for, is the rebuilding of the temple in Jerusalem. Cyrus made a proclamation to the Jews that they may rebuild their temple, and it is in Trump’s power to do the same. Trump is also a type of John the Baptist who prepared the way for Yahshua, but in Trump’s case he will prepare the way for the Anti-Messiah, because the Anti-Messiah will reign from the temple.
“So says YAHWEH to His anointed, to Cyrus, whom I have seized by his right hand, to subdue nations before him. Yea, I will open the lions of kings, to open the two leaved doors before him, and the gates shall not be shut.” (Isaiah 45:1)
When King Cyrus overtook Babylon, they diverted the great river that run under the wall and then went under the wall in the dry riverbed and opened the 2 great doors of Babylon, exactly as the prophecy predicts.
THE FULFILLMENT OF THE PROPHECY OF CYRUS THROUGH ISAIAH IN EZRA
“And in the first year of Cyrus King of Persia, so that the Word of YAHWEH by the mouth of Jeremiah might be fulfilled, YAHWEH stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, and he caused a voice to pass in all his kingdom, and also in writing, saying, so says Cyrus king of Persia, YAHWEH Elohim of Heaven has given me all the kingdoms of the earth. And He has appointed me to build Him a house at Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all His people? His Elohim is with him, and let him go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and build the house of YAHWEH, Elohim of Israel. He is The Elohim, which is in Jerusalem.“
“And all who remain in any of the places where he sojourns, let the men assist Him of that place and lift him up with silver, and with gold, and with property, and with animals, besides the freewill offering for the house of The Elohim that is in Jerusalem. Then the chiefs of the fathers of Judah and Benjamin, and the priests, and the Levites, and everyone whose spirit The Elohim had awakened, rose up to go up to build the house of YAHWEH, which is in Jerusalem.”
“And all those who were around them made their hands strong with vessels of silver, with gold, with property, and with animals, and with precious things, besides all that was freely offered. Also, Cyrus the king brought forth the vessels of the house of YAHWEH, which Nebuchadnezzar had brought out of Jerusalem and had put them in the house of his gods.” (Ezra 1:1-7)
Clearly, in these verses of Ezra we can see that the prophecy in Isaiah 44 and 45 were fulfilled and that Cyrus had the authority to send back the Jews and gave them the opportunity to rebuild their beloved Jerusalem and temple.
DONALD TRUMP MIRROR CYRUS IN SEVERAL WAYS
- Back in 2017 President Donald Trump made the bold decision to recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel fulfilling a longstanding prophecy for the Jewish people. This act echoed Cyrus’s decree regarding Jerusalem.
- Then in 2018 Trump oversaw the relocation of the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. This aligns with Cyrus’s proclamation to rebuild Jerusalem and the temple.
- Trump’s administration was marked by strong support for Israel. Reminiscent to Cyrus’s role as a political figure who helped the Jewish nation.
THE CYRUS COIN
The Jews are looking at Trump and say that the things Cyrus did for them is what Trump is also doing for them. They look at him as a figure send by Yahweh to help them. They even minted a coin in 2017, baring the images of King Cyrus and Trump side by side. This coin highlights the similarity between the two leaders as figures chosen to aid Israel in critical moments of history.
YAHWEH CAN USE ANYONE
I am not a “fan” of Trump – let me rephrase, I am not a fan of anyone, only of Yahshua, but let’s also face the reality, Yahweh can use anyone righteous or unrighteous to fulfil His purposes. We read in Proverbs 21:1 “As streams of water, the king’s heart is in the hand of YAHWEH; He inclines it wherever He desires.” Just as Cyrus was used to advanced YAHWEH’s plan for the Jews back in history, Trumps actions may also hold prophetic significance. Whether Donald Trump is a modern Cyrus or simply a political fulfilling a temporary role, the parallels are undeniable. As believers this should remind us of Yahweh’s ultimate control over history and His unshakable promises to Israel and as Endtime Watchman we can keep a close eye on this modern “Cyrus” in our midst and if he will be the one giving the Jews the “go ahead” to rebuild their temple.
