New Beginnings

GLORIFY YAHWEH

If we think about the Spiritual realm, prophecies and many Scripture parables, we tend to forget or neglect the reality of the importance of our bodies. We think it’s just a temporary vessel and it’s going to “stay behind” anyway, but in 1 Corinthians 6 Paul paints another picture about this reality-based subject. Verse 19 state “Do you not know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit in you, which you have from Elohim, and you are NOT OF YOURSELVES?“

If you invite guests to your home, or let someone stay in your house while you are on holiday or away for a view days, will you appreciate it when you return to find your house in a hectic state of a mess? Just like our bodies in fact is not ours, it’s just “borrowed to us on a temporary basis” we also need to take care of it because it’s not our own. When the Owner return, what will He find?

In verse 20 Paul wrote, “You were bought with a price; to GLORIFY ELOHIM IN YOUR BODY, and in your spirit, which BELONG TO ELOHIM.” In other words, our bodies are not ours. We may not do with it what we want and the cherry on top is, how do I GLORIFY Yahweh in or with my body? There are so many examples we can use, but today Holy Spirit want to show you yourself in the mirror and you have to answer: Do I GLORIFY Yahweh in my body?

WHO OWNS YOUR BODY?

This is all part of a call to holiness because your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit that is actually the OWNER of your body inside of you. If we cut Covenant with Yahweh and got baptized, then it is our responsibility to respect our bodies because it is physical evidence of how you glorify Yahweh.

I’m standing first in the row here, nothing I share is something Yahweh didn’t sorted out with me first. So, what do we do now? We do the 3-R-words. We identify the things we do that don’t glorify Yahweh with or in our bodies, then we Repent, Renounce and Reject it and ask Yahshua to help us not to do it anymore. To give us the strength and endurance to walk in the call of holiness and to glorify Him through our bodies.
