A WORKING OF DECEPTION

If the TRUTH will set you free according to John 8:31-32, from what is it saving you?

There is a verse that caught my attention this week in a jaw-drop moment that could maybe be the answer to my above question. 

“His coming is due to the working of Satan in all power¹ and miraculous signs² and lying wonders³, and in all deceit⁴ of unrighteousness⁵ in THOSE WHO WILL PERISH, because they did not RECEIVE THE LOVE OF THE TRUTH in order for them TO BE SAVED.

And because of this, Elohim will send to them a WORKING OF DECEPTION, for them to BELIEVE THE LIE, that those not believing IN THE TRUTH, but who have delighted in unrighteousness ALL MAY BE DAMNED.”
(2 Thessalonians 2:10-12) HRB

This Scripture must be an eye opener for us as well as a warning 

 because this deception literally means “a defection from truth” and is part of the church’s falling away and apostasy.

Can you see in the above verse with what Satan is busy with? And because of that Elohim Himself will send a working of deception! What a combination. 

That is exactly what we need to be saved from as its stated in verse 10: “we need to receive the LOVE OF THE TRUTH, in order to be saved”. That confirms John 8:31-32 that the TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE.
