KAPPORETH: “To Cover”
Are you ready to overturn some religious tables? Let’s see.
The Mystery in the Kapporeth: The Mercy Seat – Strongs 3727
Recently one morning Yahshua woke me up at 4:00am, telling me to read Romans 4:4-8.
“Now to one working, the reward is not counted according to grace, but according to debt. But to the one not working, but believing on Him justifying sinners, his faith is counted for righteousness. Even as also David says of the blessedness of the man to whom Elohim counts righteousness apart from works; “Blessed are those whose sins are forgiven, and those whose sins are COVERED; blessed is the man to whom YAHWEH will in no way charge sin.” (HRB)
While reading this Scripture, the word “COVERED” was luminating from the page and as I stared at the page, my eye saw another word luminating on the previous page under the “footnote” Nr4 (again a 4) with the Hebrew word “KAPPORETH”. In the footnote there is written: ‘Kapporeth was the COVER of the Ark of Covenant’ and the Scripture attached to that footnote is Romans 3:25 “..whom YAHWEH set forth as a sacrifice of ATONEMENT (Kapporeth – to COVER) through faith in His blood, as a demonstration of His righteousness through the remission of our sins that are past, in forbearance of Elohim, (v26) for a demonstration of His righteousness in the present time, for His being just and justifying the one that is of the faith of Yahshua.” (HRB)
The same Hebrew word is also found in Leviticus 16:2 “And YAHWEH said to Moses, speak to your brother Aaron, and he shall not come in at all times to the sanctuary within the veil, to the front of the mercy-seat.” Kapporeth, coming from the word for the day of Yom Kippur, meaning to COVER. The kapporeth was the actual cover of the ark (Exo 25:17) and where the priest sprinkled the blood to atone for the people on this day. The same word used in Rom 3:25 for ‘a sacrifice for atonement’ referring to Yahshua’s sacrifice for sin. Undoubtedly, this was the connection the Apostle Paul was trying to make in Romans 4.
The Kapporeth (Mercy Seat) was made of pure gold with two golden cherubs facing each other with their wings stretched out as if they wanted to give COVER.
What was the purpose of this Mercy Seat?
In Exodus 25:22 we read what YAHWEH said: “And I will meet you there, and will speak with you, above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubs which are on the ark of testimony, all which I shall command you as to the sons of Israel.” The only time this would take place in Ancient Israel was on the Day of Atonement or Yom Kippur, when the high priest would sprinkle the blood of a lamb on the Kapporeth and was offered yearly on this day, as the most holy day of the year, attending to COVER the sins of the nation for one more year.
What is the significance of all of this?
If we look at the Hebrew pictographs of the word “Kapporeth” we will find a beautiful mystery. Kapporeth is spelled: KAF, PEY, REYSH, TAV.
KAF is the picture of the hand and means to COVER, to OPEN or to ALLOW.
PEY is the picture of the OPEN MOUTH and means to speak.
REYSH is the picture of the HEAD and means MASTER or THE PRINCE.
TAV is the picture of crossed wooden sticks and means a SIGN, TO SEAL or to COVENANT.
Modern Hebrew

The first mystery we can see in these pictographs is that there will be a cover on the mouth of the prince. But what prince? That would be the prince of the crucifixion which is Yahshua Ha-Mashiach. If His mouth is covered, what is He not saying? For that, we must look below the seat and into the ark itself.
The first three letters in Kapporeth are the root word Kapher which in conventional Hebrew means to cover. The Kapporeth or mercy seat is not just a place for Yahweh to meet with the High Priest, it is covering something important.
What is in the Ark of the Covenant?
According to Hebrews in Chapter 9:3-5, the tabernacle in the temple contained:
“But behind the second veil is a tabernacle, being called Holy of Holies, having a golden altar of incense and the ark of the covenant COVERED around on all sides with gold, in which was the (1) golden pot having the manna, and (2) Aaron’s rod that budded, and (3) the tablets of the covenant; and above it is the cherubs of glory overshadowing the mercy-seat.” (HRB)
Although each of these items are symbols of the providential hand of Yahweh in the lives of His people, they are also reminders of the sin of His people.
(1) When He provided manna for food, the people complained it wasn’t enough, so He gave them quail.
(2) Aaron’s rod that miraculously budded was a sign that Moses had been given authority from Yahweh to lead the nation as a shepherd, but the people rejected the leadership of Moses and therefore Yahweh.
(3) The stone tables or tablets containing the Ten Commandments were the law given to the nation for their instruction and their well-being. But the people again refused to obey, and they rebelled against Yahweh.
The prince with the covered mouth is Messiah, who by shedding His blood on behalf of His people has made amends for the sins of His people. Those sins have not been just COVERED by His blood sprinkled on the Kapporeth but have been taken away forever. The people of Yahweh no longer need the blood of a lamb once a year on Yom Kippur, for as the writer of Hebrews says in Chapter 10:14 – “For by one offering He hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified.”
Each of the letters in Kapporeth is also a number which will tell us even more about this mystery.

These numbers combined, paints a wonderful picture for us through Kapporeth in the Final 7 year Smitah cycle. (20+80+200+400=700)
PROPHETIC WORD FOR THE FINAL SMITAH CYCLE
The Hand of Covering of YAHWEH will be over the righteous for the next 7 years, and there will always be redemption for those who seek His righteousness. There is a NEW BEGINNING ordained in heaven for the true covenant believers on YAHWHE’s Ancient Path (Jer 6:16) who will declare His almighty Name and not deny His real Name YAHWEH (Rev 3:8 & Numbers 6:27) A new road for many who was not grafted into The Olive Tree (Rom 11:17-19) before but tried to be sustained in their own roots. In the next 7 years the true covenant believers will SHOUT OUT the TRUTH of YAHWEH that is been kept away and hidden for so long. The time is here, to walk in the truth, stripped from all religion, tradition and controlling spirit of the darkness.
The next 7 years will be 7 years of collecting and to have the sufficiency of YAHWEH, covering us with His provision, wisdom and most of all HIS PEACE (Numbers 6:24-27) in every area of our lives. It is a divinely period of time that will bring about DELIVERANCE and RENEWAL for those who will be unveiled by the TRUTH and will walk a set apart lifestyle that honour YAHWEH in every step.
BIBLICAL YEAR 5993
To learn this Biblical year counting in full and to understand it correct, please go to the link below showing “End-time Prophecy – The Ultimate Update”
We are in the decade of 90 (5993) – in the final 10 years before the end of mankind according to Genesis 4:3 “And YAHWEH said, My Spirit shall not always strive with mankind; in their going astray he is flesh. And his days shall be a hundred and twenty years (times).” (HRB) The Hebrew word for years can also mean “times” and referring here to 120 jubilees, or 120 x 50 = 6000 years allotted to man until Yahweh would bring His kingdom. “But let not this one thing be hidden from you, beloved, that one day with YAHWEH is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.” – 2 Peter 3:8 – (HRB)
Just as Yahweh created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th, He has given mankind 6,000 years to make his own government, education, religion, and society and at the end of the 6,000 years Yahshua will return to earth to set up the Kingdom of Yahweh for the 1,000-year millennial rule completing Yahweh’s 7,000 years plan. (Ps 90:4) Then the new heaven and earth will be established and His Kingdom forever. (Rev 21:1-4)
The FINANAL DECANDE OF 90 – TESTED AND APPROVED
This is the number of Lamech [ the father of Noah ] whose name means ‘the strikerdown; the wild man or powerful’. He was the first to be recorded to have more than one wife and was known to be rude and a ruffian. The symbolic association of this number is therefore with dominance of to dominate others. Isn’t this just super significant in the times we are living now? There are so many controlling spirits operating to dominate mankind!
The numeric association with 90 can be calculated by multiplying nine [almost complete, harvest, to judge] and ten [fulfilment] which points to the completion of the period of testing and that the fruit of your labour is showing. This is just taking my breath away! So many covenant believers can testify that they were through the fire, and were tested in so many areas of obedience, and 90 points to the completion of the period of testing and that the fruit or our labour will show now. (Matt 7:15-20) v16a “From their fruits you shall know them.” We were definitely tested from the start of 5990 (2020) and still going strong, but how encouraging to know that we will be tested and approved by YAHWEH in this final decade before the coming of our King, Yahshua!
HEBREW: SAINTS SUFFERING (90) – Letter “TSADE”
The eighteenth Hebrew letter “TSADE” means ‘bondage’ of ‘prison’. In Hebrew the character TSADE is used to represent the number 90 and the spiritual meaning is “SAINTS SIFTED”. This blew my mind too. Oh my goodness, this is exactly what is happening in this final decade before the 6,000 years end! Yahweh is not only busy separating the chaff from the wheat anymore (Matt 3:12), but He is also SIFTING THE SAINTS from the saints. Wow… just sit down and rethink this one. We are in an awakening era where the 5 wise virgins are trimming their lamps, while the 5 unwise is still pondering around not getting ready or want to see the truth or is not in an intimate relationship with Yahweh. Yahshua will only present the best wheat to our Creator, He is sifting the saints from the saints!
Listen to this one! The rabbis’ picture TSADE as a ‘trap’ or a ‘fishing hook’ that catches the fish. The root word “Tzod’ means to hunt, to trap or to catch. BUT the Christians picture TSADE as ‘Saints Suffering’ because the letter TSADE looks like a figure of a man (Vav) bent over with a sword (Zayin) in his back! This revelation of 90 is just astonishing because who cannot testify about more backstabbing as in this last decade we are in? Saints against saints, suffering from backstabbing while YAHWEH is sifting them. What a picture!

YAHWEH’s ANCIENT PATH with SPIRIT SOUL AND BODY
“And may the Elohim of PEACE Himself fully sanctify you and may your whole spirit and life and BODY be kept blameless at the coming of our Master Yahshua, the Messiah.” (1 Thessalonians 4:23)
As we enter the final Smitha cycle, Yahweh is also moving our focus to our body. While He was attending to our soul wounds many of us was neglecting our bodies. Part of the Ancient Path is to rediscover these important lifestyle rules Yahweh gave in His word for us to attend to. If we want to survive the next 7 years, our immune system needs to be healed and boosted.
We need to be fleshly and spiritually strong to do what we need to do in this final 7 years. There is no time to be stressed out, ill and under the spirit of control of Pharmacia anymore. We must run this race with endurance and with physical strength and to run the race successfully we need to live healthier. We need to eat the right foods, drink more pure water and stop stuffing our bodies with poison. Refuel with the right fuel to get recharged with the things Abba gave us in the natural to keep us healthy and to endure to successfully finish the race. Make effort to live healthier and boost or repair your immune system.
1 TISHREI IS NOT THE BIBLICAL NEW YEAR
The Romans start the year in January, in the dead of the winter, whereas the Orthodox Jews start the year in September – October according to the man-made rules of the Rabbis. But when does the Bible say is the beginning of the year? In Exo 12:2 we read: “This month (Aviv / Nisan) shall be the head of months for you. It shall be the first of the months of the year for you”.
Very clearly the year begins in the spring in Israel when the Passover is celebrated. The first month of the biblical calendar is called Aviv, now known as Nisan. Also, we know from Deut 16:9 that we must start our Shavuot count “when the sickle hits the standing grain;” or in other words when the barley is ripe. Notice it never states that barley is the parameter for the 1st day and beginning of the year, ONLY that it is the agricultural parameter for the beginning of the count to Shavuot. This point alone proves barley is not the parameter to start the year, but simply an earthy agricultural witness that the year has already begun. The biblical calendar is completely agricultural as where the Jewish calendar does not take any of these things into account.
Their mistake is quite simple. Yahweh states, as I already have shown that “Aviv is the beginning of months to you” (Ex 12:2). But according to the modern Jewish calendar they start the year in the 7th month and count back the days to Aviv and Passover. Then as long as Passover (and not the 1st day of the month of Aviv) falls after the vernal equinox, they will still start the year even though the first 2 weeks may still be in winter and still part of the old year. Again, their mistake is following the tradition of the Rabbis in starting the year in Tishrei, the 7th month and not starting it in Aviv, the first month.
The calendar they are using today is NOT the one used in the time of the 1st century when Yahshua the Messiah walked the earth, as even the Encyclopaedia Judaica openly admits that the modern Jewish calendar started in the fourth century by a Rabbi named Hillel the 2nd and was not completely codified until the earliest the 10th century AD. It is generally accepted that certain elements of the calculated Jewish calendar, commonly in use today, were 22 codified in approximately 358 C. E. by the (president of the Jewish Sanhedrin), Hillel II. (Encyclopaedia Judaica).
In order to understand the biblical calendar, one must understand the circular pattern of worship at feast time due to both the Holy Days being connected to the yearly cyclical pattern of the agricultural cycle and the circular pattern of the heavenly luminaries, the sun, moon, and stars. It has always been understood from biblical times that the equinox is the dividing point of the year and the growing cycle. In contrast, history shows us, and it is no secret, that the modern Jewish calendar is based on a 4th century Rabbi and it was not codified for several hundred years after that and it is not based on the original Biblical calendar from Scripture. Even in the Talmudic writings of the 2nd to 4th century it clearly states that the Passover must be in spring and not winter.
YOM TERUAH – Feast of Trumpets
7 𝑬𝒕𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒂𝒍 𝑭𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕𝒔 𝑜𝑓 YAHWEH 𝑜𝑟
The 𝑨𝒑𝒑𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕𝒔 of YAHWEH.
One day there won’t be a 𝒇𝒆𝒂𝒔𝒕 of Yahweh left unfulfilled.
All His Children (not just Israel) are sensitive for these Kairos times and shows up for His Appointments. These Feasts are also called 𝑫𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝑹𝒆𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒍𝒔 (Preparation or shadows) toward the Fulfilment of all that each Feast represents. The Hebrew word for “feasts” (moadim) literally means “appointed times”. Yahweh has carefully planned and orchestrated the timing and sequence of each of these seven feasts to reveal to us a special story.
The first four of the seven feasts occur during the springtime (Passover, Unleavened Bread, First Fruits, and Weeks of Pentecost), and they all have already been fulfilled by Yahshua in the New Testament. So how can some people say to attend and look at these feasts, are Old Testament? The final three holidays, (Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot) occur in the fall, all within a short fifteen-day period.
Many Bible scholars and commentators believe that these fall feasts have not yet been fulfilled by Yahshua. However, the “blessed hope” (Titus 2:13) for all believers, Yahshua is that they most assuredly will be fulfilled. As the four spring feasts were fulfilled literally and right on the actual feast day in connection with Yahshua first coming, these three fall feasts, it is believed by many, will likewise be fulfilled literally in connection to Yahshua’s second coming.
In a nutshell, here is the prophetic significance of each of the seven Levitical feasts:
- PASSOVER – Leviticus 23:5 – Pointed to the Messiah as our Passover Lamb in 1 Corinthians 5:7 whose blood would be shed for our sins. Yahshua was crucified during the time that the Passover was observed in Mark 14:12. Yahshua is a “lamb without blemish or defect” – 1 Peter 1:19 – because His life was completely free from sin – Hebrew 4:15. As the first Passover marked the Hebrews’ release from Egyptian slavery, so the death of Yahshua marks our release form slavery of sin – Romans 8:2.
- UNLEAVENED BREAD – Leviticus 23:6 – Pointed to the Messiah’s sinless life (as leaven is a picture of sin in the Bible), making Him the perfect sacrifice for our sins. Yahshua’s body was in the grave during the first days of this feast, like a kernel of wheat planted and waiting to burst forth as the Bread of Life.
- FIRST FRUITS – Leviticus 23:10 – Pointed to the Messiah’s resurrection as the First Fruit of the righteous. Yahshua was resurrected on this very day, which is one of the reasons that Paul refers to him in 1 Corinthians 15:20 as the “First Fruits from the dead”.
- WEEKS OF PENTECOST – Leviticus 23:16 – Occurred fifty days (shadow of the jubilee cycle) after the beginning of the Feast of Unleavened Bread and pointed to the great harvest of souls and the gift of the Holy Spirit for both jew and Gentile, who would be brought into the Kingdom of Yahweh during the Church Age (see Acts 2). The Church was actually established on this day when Yahweh poured out His Holy Spirit and 3000 Jews responded to Peter’s great sermon and his first proclamation of the gospel.
- YOM TERUAH – Feast of Trumpets – Leviticus 23:24 – The first of the fall feasts and many believe this day points to the Rapture of the Covenant Believers, when Yahshua will appear on the heavens as He comes for His bride. The rapture is always associated in Scripture with the blowing of a loud trumpet (1 Thessalonians 4:13 and 1 Corinthians 15:52).
- YOM KIPPUR – Day of Atonement – Leviticus 23:27 – Many believe this prophetically points to the day of the Second Coming of Yahshua when He will return to earth. That will be the Day of Atonement for the Jewish remnant when they “look upon Him whom they have pierced” repent of their sins, and receive Him as there Messiah – Zechariah 12:10 – and Romans 11:1-6, 25-36.
- SUKKOT – Feast of Tabernacles – Leviticus 23:34 – Many scholars believe that this feast day points to Yahweh’s promise that He will once again “tabernacle” with His people when He returns to reign over all the world – Micah 4:1-7 – 1000 years of Peace – Revelations 20.
The Bride is 𝑨𝒘𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈
The Bride is 𝑷𝒓𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 Herself #getOil #Rev19v7
The Bride is 𝑻𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 #Teshuvah To Yahweh
The Bride is 𝒘𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 Her garments in The Blood of The Lamb
The Bride’s heart is 𝒃𝒖𝒓𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 for Yahshua and His Harvest
The Bride is 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒐𝒖𝒕 towards Him to meet Him .
The next feast in-line to be fulfilled is Yom Teruah. This festival is also known in Israel, as “The Feast of the Day and Hour we do not know” – does that sounds familiar to you? When the disciples asked Yahshua when He will return, He said He will return on the day and hour no one will know. Could it be on the Feast of Trumpets? Certainly yes! Yahshua fulfilled the previous 4 as mentioned above and He will definitely also fulfil the next three! 𝑭𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑩𝒓𝒊𝒅𝒆 of Yahshua the Trumpet will be 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝑹𝒂𝒑𝒕𝒖𝒓𝒆 CALL and one day it won’t be just a dress rehearsal blowing our shofars, preparing our hearts, being refined, turning, being faithful, getting oil – but it will be the Trumpet blast 𝒇𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝑯𝒆𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒏 and the Holy Spirit & The Bride will be 𝒄𝒂𝒖𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒖𝒑. (1 Thes 4:15-17)
The number seven in Yahweh’s plan signifies completion and perfection. The seventh month of Yahweh’s calendar contains the final four festivals: Yom Teruah, Yom Kippur and Sukkot – picturing the completion of Yahweh’s Master Plan for mankind. The festival that occurs on the first day of this month marks the beginning of the final events in Yahweh’s plan.
Yom Teruah (The Feast of Trumpets) portrays a pivotal event in Yahweh’s plan of salvation. It not only pictures the coming of The Messiah to resurrect and change the first fruits, but it also pictures the terrible time of world war just ahead.
Was this festival to be a memorial of blowing of trumpets?
In Leviticus 23:24 we read the following: “Speak to the sons of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first of the month, a Holy Day Sabbath shall be to you, a memorial acclamation of the resounding of trumpets, a holy gathering.” It is from this ceremony that the Feast of Trumpets draws its name. There is a great deal of symbolic meaning tied in with the blowing of these trumpets – especially with regard to the end time in which we’re living.
Trumpets were blown to announce Yahweh’s festivals, as well as to call Yahweh’s people to assembly and to announce the reigning of a new King. Trumpets were also used as an alarm of invading armies and impending warfare. This terrifying sound filled the people of ancient Israel with fear because they knew the horror of war was imminent! It is this warning of war that sets apart the Feast of Trumpets from Yahweh’s other festivals.
THE LAST 7 YEAR SHEMITA YEAR CYCLE
The final Shemita cycle starts this year on 1 Tishrei 5993 – correct biblical year counting (2023 Gregorian / Roman year count) and will end on 29 Elul 5999 – correct biblical year counting (2030 Gregorian / Roman year count). We are not in the year 5783 or even going to the year 5784. Because Nr.1 This is not the head of the year, Aviv/Nisan is, according to scripture (Exo 12:2) and Nr2. – we are nearly finished with the 6000 years that Yahweh gave man to live in Genesis 6:3 (120 x 50 Jubilee years = 6000).
If we were in 5783/4 it would mean that we still must wait 216 years for The Bridegroom to come! And that is impossible! Under this post I will share a link called: “End-Times Prophecy – The Ultimate Update” for more detail about this statement.
Since the Biblical year starts on Aviv 1 in March or April on the Roman calendar, why does the Shemita years start in Tishrei 1, (September/ October) in the 7th month of the Hebrew calendar?
There are actually 2 coinciding calendars working throughout the biblical year. You have the Cyclical Calendar that runs from Aviv to Aviv, and then you have the Agricultural Calendar that runs from Tishrei to Tishrei. Both calendars though revolve around the equinoxes, but one starts near the Vernal equinox and the other one starts near the autumn equinox. The agricultural calendar begins Tishrei 1, and this is confirmed by the Gezar calendar that was used by King David and King Solomon and is the very foundation that the Biblical Calendar is based on.
The Gezer calendar was found in Tel Gezer and has a detailed account of the whole agricultural growing season in Israel and is the oldest Israelite calendar on record. It has several words for grass depending on whether it is grass from the early rain or whether it is grass from the barley harvest etc. It also has different words for harvesting as in Hebrew there is a different Hebrew words for each fruit harvested.
The Gezer calendar shows the whole agricultural cycle of Israel and clearly starts on Tishrei one, and that is why the Jews call Tishrei 1 “Rosh Ha Shenah”, or “the beginning of the year”, because it is the beginning of the agricultural cycle and NOT the beginning of a NEW YEAR!
Lev 25:8-10 confirms the Shemita and Jubilee begin in Tishrie, NOT Aviv. Lev 25:8 “And you shall number to yourself seven Sabbaths of years, seven years times seven, and all the days of the seven Sabbaths of years shall be to you forty-nine years. Lev 25:9 And you shall let a ram’s horn resound, a signal in the seventh month, in the tenth of the month; in the day of atonement, let a ram’s horn pass throughout all your land; Lev 25:10 and you shall make the fiftieth year holy, one year. And you shall proclaim liberty in the land to those living in it; He shall be a jubilee to you. And you shall return every man to his possession; yea, you shall turn back each to his family.” (HRB)
The final Shemita cycle starts this year on 1 Tishrei 5992 – correct biblical year counting (2023 Gregorian / Roman year count) and will end on 29 Elul 5999 – correct biblical year counting (2030 Gregorian / Roman year count)
THE FINAL JUBILEE
The Jubilee starts on the 10th day of the seventh month called Tishrei, as where the Sabbatical Shemita year starts on Tishrei 1. The reason the Jubilee starts on the 10th day is that in a Jubilee year you would have back-to-back Sabbath land rests, so in the second-year land rest of the Jubilee, you would have a 10-day period between the two years to harvest anything that had grown of itself the year before in the Shemita, and prepare a harvest to bring up to Jerusalem for Sukkot in the Jubilee, according to scripture.
The last Jubilee will end in Gregorian year 2031 – Biblical year 6000.
“Yahweh bless you and keep you; Yahweh cause His face to shine on you and be gracious to you; Yahweh lift up His face to you and give you PEACE.” Numbers 6:24-26
