KEY 3 – THE ANCIENT CUP
It’s the Ancient Path that carries the Anointing.
The ALPHA & the OMEGA
God is the ALPHA & the OMEGA and He is today, exactly the same, Who He was yesterday, and He will be the same tomorrow too. What He prepared and made for us in His Ancient ways, Ancient Years ago, are still relevant for us as believers for today. He is The Beginning and The End. He is the Old and the New Covenant in one. He does not change. The New Testament with the New Covenant are built on the Old Testament and Old Covenant. It stays ONE in UNITY. You cannot separate them. The Old Testament is the New Testament CONCEALED and the New Testament is the Old Testament REVEALED. Every part of God’s Word is still applicable today, from the beginning to the end.
“And the four living creatures, each one of them having six wings, are full of eyes all over and within [underneath their wings]; and day and night they never stop saying, “Holy, Holy, Holy [is the] Lord God, the Almighty [the Omnipotent, the Ruler of all], who was and who is and who is to come [the unchanging, eternal God.” (Isaiah 4:8)
Elohim’s CUP
“You cannot drink [both] from Elohim’s CUP and the cup of demons. You cannot share in both Elohim’s table and the table of demons [thereby becoming partners with them].” 1 Cor.10:21
God’s Ancient Word fit into His Ancient Paths for us to operate in His Ancient Commandments for His Ancient reasons according to His Ancient Word. One complete circle. His Ancient Path starts with the Word of God and ends with it. The Truth and nothing but the TRUTH. His Word and nothing but His Word.
We cannot share His Ancient Cup with the cup of demons. There must be a clean break – a definitive line to NOT share a cup filled with Ancient Wine at an Ancient Table with demons. We must remove everything at The Table that is NOT of God. He wants a clean table, and a clean cup.
Clean the inside of the CUP
“Woe to you [self-righteous] scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the CUP and of the plate, but the inside is full of extortion and robbery and self-indulgence (unrestrained greed). You are [spiritually] blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the CUP and of the plate [examine and change your inner self to conform to God’s precepts], so that the outside [your public life and deeds] may be clean also” Matthew 23:25-26
Here Yeshua Himself said that we reflect the outside to others for them to see, pretending we are clean and inline with God. Remember, in this passage, He talked with the Pharisees – the ones who knew God’s Word. They talked with each other about God’s Word, teach others about it, meditated on it, and knew it by heart. But they did not implement God’s Word into their lives and didn’t operate in it. They had all these Scripture knowledge, but was unclean from inside. Yeshua showed a mirror to them of themselves and showed them how their cups are looking inside. Full of extortion, robbery, self-indulgence, and unrestrained greed.
There are so many things we can add in this fleshly, dirty cup. If we want to turn around and walk on God’s Ancient Path, then we need to make sure our CUPS are clean. Ask Yeshua today, to also show to you a mirror of your cup and what uncleanness need to get out. We can not afford to have dirty cups or sharing our cups with demons in this final hour.
Ancient CUP
God’s Word is like Ancient Grapes and He made Ancient Wine with it, and it is hidden in Ancient Wine Skins, but it is still fresh for us to use today. But ONLY for us – not to share with demons in the same cup at the same table.
God prepared a table before us in the presence of our enemies, not FOR the enemies. He will not share His Cup or His Table with anyone but with us. “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You have anointed my head with oil; My CUP overflow.” (Ps25:3) If we sit at the table God prepared for us, He will fill our cups with His Ancient Wine to overflow, out of His Ancient Wine Skins. But then it must be a pure cup. A cup that is washed by the Blood of The Lamb, and ready to be filled with HIS Ancient Wine. He will pour it out of his Ancient Wine Skin into our clean cup for us to overflow of HIM. He will be refilling our CUP forever in all eternity.
CUP of Suffering
“But Yeshua replied: ‘You do not realize what you are asking. Are you able to drink the CUP [of suffering] that I am about to drink?’ “ (Matt 20:22) “And after going a little farther, He fell face down and prayed, saying: “My Father, if it is possible [that is, consistent with Your will], let this CUP pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as YOU WILL.” (Matt 26:39) [Take Note: Big KEY in prayer here.]
Yeshua request God in Matthew 26:39 [or asked if it is possible] to take away this CUP OF SUFFERING. The CUP becomes a metaphor of the great suffering that Yeshua had to drink that night in the garden. However, Yeshua was not asking the Father for a way around the cross. Rather, he was asking God to keep him alive through that night of suffering so that he will be able to carry the cross and take away our sins, the next day. According to the prophecies of the Old Testament, Yeshua was to be pierced on a cross.
Sometimes we also need to drink out of the CUP of Suffering. Not because God want to torture us, but because He knows the bigger picture and also know what is best for our lives and for His Kingdom. If it wasn’t for the Cup of Suffering Yeshua had to drink, we all would have been doomed: FOREVER.
Look at it like this: how short was the time Yeshua had to deal with this CUP of Suffering? Yet it had an enormous impact on everybody’s lives: for an eternity! Your time of suffering is also just temporarily and besides Yeshua, I’ve never heard about anyone sweating blood while dealing with his cup of suffering like He did? So how bad can it be? The Cup of Suffering is only a steppingstone to something bigger. Be strong and faithful and keep your focus on Yeshua.
In Hebrew 5:7 we learned that Yeshua’s prayer was answered that night as the cup was indeed taken from him. “In the days of His earthly life, Yeshua offered up both [specific] petitions and [urgent] supplications [for that which he needed] with fervent crying and tears to the ONE who was [always] able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His reverent submission toward God [His sinlessness and His unfailing determination to do the Father’s will”.
CUP of Sacrifice
While not sparing His son the suffering which He had destined for Him, Yeshua asked a second time in Matthew 26:42 “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.” God listened to Yeshua intently and comforted Him. He sent an angel to strengthen him and deliver him from premature death. The CUP He was asking God to let pass from Him was the CUP of premature death that Satan was trying to make Him drink in the garden, not the death He would experience the next day on the cross. He had already sweat drops of blood, but the prophecies had to be fulfilled of being pierced on a cross for our transgressions, and Satan wanted to prevent that from happening. God answered His cry, and He lived through the agony of Gethsemane so that He could be our CUP of SACRIFICE for our sin on Calvary.
Very interesting that Yeshua was in a garden on His last night, before His crucifixion. If we look back right in the beginning, where was Adam and Eve? Also in a garden, but it was the garden of sin. In that garden Satan also wanted to contaminate mankind’s fate. He tried that in the last garden too, where Yeshua was the night before He was crucified. But once again, God came with a Mater Battle Plan and made a way. Soon God will once and for all judge Satan and send him to the pit of fire, but we will be with Him in His Garden of Glory.
CUP of Communion
“And in the same way He took the CUP after they had eaten, saying, ‘This CUP, which is poured out for you, is the new covenant [ratified] in My blood.” (Luke 22:20)
We will not sit among demons on the same table or drink out of the same cup with them! The price was paid, and the price was high. The Cup of Communion was RATIFIED by the Blood of The Lamb. We will get rid of everything that is NOT of God in our cups and make them clean inside and out and we will raise our CUPS with dignity and honour Yeshua for His sacrifice. We will take communion and remind each other of our Redeemer’s Cup of Suffering and Cup of Sacrifice that gave us LIFE, as often as we need to!
The CUP of Suffering was meant for the CUP of Sacrifice, to become the CUP of Communion. Ancient CUPs are carrying the Anointing for today in this last, final hour that bring God’s glory and fills us with Him. He wants us to overflow with HIM in our clean Ancient CUP He gave us, to walk in His Anointing and Glory for eternity as His CUP BEARERS. His Blood in an Ancient CUP is our freedom, our redemption, and our way to walk in HIS TRUTH on His Ancient Path, to be with Him forever.
