PROPHETIC WORD FOR BIBLICAL NEW YEAR 5996

Gregorian Date: March 20, 2026 / Biblical Date: Month 12, Day 30

🌿Theme: Psalm 96 – “Sing a New Song”

Stepping Into a New Season

As we stand on the brink of the Biblical New Year 5996, with the new moon observed tonight, 20 March 2026, we are stepping into a season filled with purpose and divine alignment. Just as the Israelites received the instruction from יהוה in Exodus 12:2, “This month is the beginning of months for you, it is the first month of the year for you,” we too are standing at a divinely appointed beginning.

A new beginning is exactly that—a beginning. Unknown, uncharted, and often stretching us beyond what is comfortable. And because it is unknown, we must now more than ever lift our eyes and our hearts in praise to the One who already stands in that beginning. As it is written in Isaiah 46:10, He is the One “declaring the end from the beginning,” and so we can trust that יהוה has already gone before us and prepared the way.

Praise in the Midst of Uncertainty

Even as the world shakes around us, as nations struggle and systems falter, and crises rise that seem beyond our control, we are called to praise Him. Psalm 96 calls us higher: “Sing to יהוה a new song; sing to יהוה, all the earth.” This is the posture of this hour. Not fear, not striving, but praise. Not because of what we see, but because of Who He is. For as it is written in Habakkuk 3:17–18, even when the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, “yet I will rejoice in יהוה, I will joy in the Elohim of my deliverance.”

If we are not fully surrendered—if we have not laid down our lives and chosen to walk wholly in His ways—even a new beginning can become a place of confusion. This is why Proverbs 3:5–6 calls us to “trust in יהוה with all your heart… and He makes your paths straight.” In this hour of increasing deception, the remnant must rise with clarity, surrender, and unwavering praise.

The Words That Shook My Spirit

Earlier this week, as I walked up the hill in our valley, speaking with Father, I saw Him sitting at a table holding a deck of cards. I acknowledged Him, saying, “I know You are in control, for the cards are in Your hands.” Then I heard it clearly in my spirit: “Checkmate.” Though I saw cards, not a chessboard, the word came again: “The game is over. Checkmate.” And immediately, I was reminded of Galatians 6:7, “Do not be deceived, Elohim is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he shall also reap.”

This was a divine declaration, an end to pretense, performance, and compromise. Many have been living as though life is a game, appearing righteous outwardly while inwardly following the flesh. Yet יהוה calls us in Joshua 24:15, “Choose for yourselves this day whom you are going to serve.” The line has been drawn. The game is over.

CHECKMATE!

The Small Pawn and the Remnant Rising

As I went down the hill with these words still ringing loud in my ears, my eyes were drawn to a small black object on the ground. I picked it up and saw that it resembled a chess pawn, and immediately I knew it was a message and confirmation of the words I heard from Father earlier.

Father began to speak: I am using even the smallest one to fulfill My purpose. Just as it is written in Zechariah 4:10, “For who has despised the day of small beginnings?” the pawn may seem insignificant, yet it plays a vital role in positioning for victory. So too, the remnant, often hidden, overlooked, and underestimated, is being positioned for a significant role in the fulfillment of Father’s plan. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 1:27, “Aloah chose the foolish of the world to shame the wise… and the weak of the world to shame the strong.”

While the pawn moves, יהוה is also positioning every other piece, the king, the queen, the castle and the horses in perfect alignment. Nothing is random. As Romans 8:28 reminds us, “All things work together for good to those who love Aloah.”

Prophetic Function of the Insert Coupling

Though it looked like a pawn, this object is in fact an insert coupling, designed to connect from within, to maintain integrity, and to restore what is broken internally. And immediately, the Spirit highlighted Psalm 51:6, “Behold, You have desired truth in the inward parts.” This is the work יהוה is doing in this hour—not outward performance, but inward transformation. He is connecting, restoring, and strengthening His people from the inside.

Just as this coupling brings alignment and stability, so too the remnant is being called into unity and wholeness, as it is written in Ephesians 4:16, “from whom the entire body, joined and knit together… grows and builds itself up in love.” This is a season of divine order, where יהוה is establishing His authority and aligning His people according to His purpose.

A Watchman’s Observation

As I reflected further on the word “Checkmate” and the small object I picked up, I came across visual patterns and structures that stirred something deeply in my spirit. The similarities in design, alignment, and positioning are not something I take lightly. As a watchman, I am called to observe, to discern, and to bring what I sense before יהוה in prayer.

Scripture reminds us in Habakkuk 2:1, “I stand my watch… and I watch to see what He says to me.” This is the posture I take—not to assume, but to seek His voice in what is being revealed.

What I sense is not merely about structures or systems, but about a greater spiritual reality behind what is seen and unseen. We know from Ephesians 6:12 that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against spiritual forces and in this hour, there is an increasing exposure of what has been hidden and a positioning of everything according to יהוה’s perfect will.

The word “Checkmate” continues to echo—not as fear, but as a declaration:
The game is coming to an end.
Nothing escapes His authority.
What is hidden will be brought into the light.

As children of the light, we are not called to walk in fear, but in awareness, discernment, and truth, as it is written in 1 Thessalonians 5:4–5, “But you, brothers, are not in darkness… for you are all sons of light.”

A Call to Surrender and Praise

As we step into this new Biblical year, we are reminded that יהוה is not only calling us to observe a new beginning, but to become new within it. As it is written in 2 Chronicles 7:14, “If My people… humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I shall hear from the heavens.”

This is a call to surrender, to humility, and to alignment. Psalm 96 declares that all creation rejoices before Him, and so must we. This is not a time to shrink back, but to rise in reverence, in holiness, and in praise. For Hebrews 12:28 reminds us that we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, and therefore we must serve Him acceptably, with reverence and awe.

As we move into this Biblical New Year, Psalm 96 reminds us: “Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and all that fills it. Let the field exult, and all that is in it; then all the trees of the forest shall sing for joy…for He comes to judge the earth in righteousness, and the peoples in His faithfulness.”

A Prayer of Surrender and Alignment

Father Yahuah, in this hour of transition into the Biblical New Year 5996, we come before You with hearts open and humble. We acknowledge that the game is over and that pretense, compromise and striving in our own strength cannot advance Your Kingdom. Forgive us for the times we have tried to play Your plans by our own rules, for the moments we have followed appearances instead of Your truth, and for the ways we have held back from fully surrendering to You.

Father, we lay down every plan, every agenda, every fear, and every attempt to control our lives. We choose to stop playing games and to step into the positions You have set before us. Like the small pawn that carries Your purpose, we acknowledge that You can use even the smallest, hidden, or overlooked among us to accomplish great things. Place us exactly where You want us, Father, moving in alignment with Your will, connected, strengthened, and guided by Your Spirit.

Help us walk in integrity, repairing what has been broken within us, connecting fully to Your design and standing in the authority You have appointed for us. May our hearts be fully surrendered, our eyes fixed on You, and our voices lifted in praise, even when the world shakes around us. Let the heavens rejoice and let the earth be glad as we step boldly into the calling You have placed over our lives.

Father, establish us, equip us, and guide us. Let us be vessels of Your glory, faithful in the small things, courageous in obedience, and steadfast in Your truth. We submit to Your timing, Your placement, and Your purpose. From this day forward, may our lives reflect Your will and Your ways, as we rise as Your remnant, positioned for Your Kingdom, walking in full surrender and praise.

In the powerful Name of Yahushua HaMashiach, we pray, HalleluYAH.

Psalm 96 – “Sing a New Song”🌿

Sing to יהוה a new song; sing to יהוה, all the earth.
Sing to יהוה, bless His Name; proclaim His salvation from day to day.
Declare His esteem among the nations, His wonders among all peoples.
For great is יהוה, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared above all mighty ones.
For all the mighty ones of the peoples are vanity, but יהוה made the heavens.
Honor and majesty are before Him; strength and joy are in His place.
Give to יהוה, O families of the peoples, give to יהוה esteem and strength.
Give to יהוה the esteem due His Name; bring an offering, and come into His courts.
Worship יהוה in the beauty of holiness; tremble before Him, all the earth.
Say among the nations, “יהוה reigns! Yes, the world is established; it shall not be moved; He judges the peoples in righteousness.”
Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and all that fills it.
Let the field exult, and all that is in it; then all the trees of the forest shall sing for joy.
Before יהוה, for He comes, for He comes to judge the earth. He shall judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples in His faithfulness.

A Word of Encouragement

As you rise from this moment of surrender and prayer, know this: Yahuah has already positioned you for greatness in His Kingdom. You are not small, and nothing is outside of His control. The challenges of the world may press around you, but they cannot move the One who has placed you in His plan.

Step boldly into the new season, knowing that your obedience, your faith, and your praise will align you with the divine purpose He has for you. Do not shrink back, do not settle for playing games, and do not be distracted by appearances or compromise.

This is your time to shine, to walk in integrity and to fulfill the calling of the remnant. Let your heart be strong, your spirit courageous and your eyes fixed on the Author of beginnings, for in Him, every step you take has eternal significance.

SHANA TOVA beloved, may your new year be filled with Abba’s mercy, His presence, His guidance and His peace.
